Nike Unveils Adonis Creed Training Collection
MICHAEL B. JORDAN
Michael B. Jordan has confirmed that Nike will be launching a special collection of apparel to celebrate the re- lease of Creed 2. Jordan, who portrays the film's main char- acter Adonis Creed, made the announcement via Insta- gram.
The actor's announcement was accompanied by the cap- tion, "Power. Legacy. Purpose. Amidst all of my training, I kept this in mind and wanted to give you a piece of that." In the photo, Jordan can be seen wearing a grey T-shirt with the sleeves cut off that simply reads "Creed" in navy blue text with a red Swoosh.

An Ohio school backed by NBA star LeBron James will be the subject of a fea- ture-length documentary.
The Akron Beacon Jour- nal reports the Akron Public Schools has approved a deal with a New York City produc- tion company to document the first year of the I Promise School.
The school opened in July in James’ hometown and is a partnership between the
school district and the LeBron James Family Foundation.
The district approved the agreement this week with Blowback Productions for a documentary that will focus on the successes, struggles and endeavors of students at the school.
I Promise is designed to help at-risk children with a curriculum focused on sci- ence, technology, engineering and math.
It may be a man’s world, but Serena Williams is known to break the rules.
For GQ’s December 2018/January 2019 issue, the Condé Nast-owned magazine anointed three men — and one woman — the title of “Man of the Year.” Jonah Hill, Michael B. Jordan and Henry Golding were all awarded the title alongside Williams.
The tennis star, 37, owns one of the four covers as the “Champion of the Year,” wearing a black leotard and a vintage Chanel belt. Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton’s cre- ative director and the de- signer of Williams’ buzzed-about US Open out- fits, added his signature quo- tation marks around the word “woman,” which is writ- ten in his handwriting.
Though all four covers

were released on Monday, fans will have to wait until Thursday to read Williams’ interview. In a teaser, the magazine promised that Williams will discuss “the US Open moment heard around the world, along with her plans for the future, her thoughts on Brett Ka- vanaugh’s Supreme Court appointment and what it’s like to be a black woman in America in 2018.”
