CARNEGIE
MRS. GWENDOLYN REEVES FIELDS
Mrs. Gwendolyn Reeves Fields was born on March 6, 1950 in Tampa, Florida, to Mr. Charles Reeves and Ms. Ruth Cherry. Gwen, as she was affectionately called, was a very loving and car- ing mother, who enjoyed spend- ing quality time with her husband, Clyde, children, grand- children, and great-grandchil- dren. Gwen was known for her generous heart and her un- wavering effort to help others. Another of her passions was watching Lifetime Television Network.
Gwen attended Meachem Ele- mentary, Booker T. Washington Junior High School, Middleton High School, and Hillsborough Community College. After com- pleting college, she went on to be- come one of the first African-American educators in Hillsborough County School Dis- trict specializing in early child- hood education for thirty-five years.
Once she retired from the school district, she pursued other endeavors, such as insurance un- derwriting and real estates. How- ever, her true passion was teaching and interacting with children so she returned to teach- ing with the Hillsborough County School District’s After School Program.
She leaves to cherish loving and fond memories with: her hus- band, Clyde Nedd, Sr.; 6 children, Oliver Bernard Fields, Tanya McMillian (Tyrone), Quanda West (C W), Felicia Stewart (Okeif), Gladys Johnson and CJ Nedd; 3 sisters, Gloria Bowman, Cyntiha Reeves, and Patricia Strawder; 1 brother, Rubean Cherry; grandchildren, Shantel, Quanshae, Tyrell, Louis (LP), Bernard, III, Sidreka, Lexus, Tyree, Deshuan, Alesha, Eshuan, Alyrie, Quesley, Terrika, Jerriel, Terry, Tyrana, Jahtanna, CJ, Ote- sha, Ashaunti, and O’Maria; 14 great-grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews; extended family, Oliver Bernard Fields, Sr. (Ethel), Patricia Walker (David), Ronnie Gaines, and Betha Smith; devoted friends, Gwendolyn Robinson, Erica George-Jones, Kiara Bridgeman, Brenda Holley, Shirley Fields Constance Nedd, and Paulette Upshaw-Wells.
Services for Mrs. Gwen will be held on Saturday, March 17th, 11 a. m. at The Center for Manifesta- tion, 3102 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL.
Viewing will be held on Fri- day, March 16th, at the church from 5-7 p. m. and one hour prior to services.

SISTER DOROTHY MAE RITMAN-JACOBS
A Celebration of Life will be held for Sister Dorothy Mae Rit- man-Jacobs on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at New Mt. Zion M. B. Church, 2511 E. Colum- bus Dr., Tampa, with Rev. Larry L. Roundtree, II, Pastor, officiat- ing. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Sister Dorothy Mae Ritman- Jacobs was born March 6, 1932 in Quincy, Florida to the late Dyke and Lillie Ritman. Sister Jacobs received her education in the public schools of Gadsden County and later, after moving to Tampa, FL, she attended night school at Middleton High receiving her High School Equivalency Diploma.
Sister Dorothy Jacobs was an active member of New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Larry L. Roundtree, ll, where she served on the Pulpit Aide Board, Purple Lilly Usher Board, Pastor’s Aide Board, Women’s Mission, and Culinary Board.
On March 3, 2018 the Master whispered her name into eternal rest.
Sister Dorothy Jacobs was preceded in the death by: her hus- band, Willie James Jacobs, Sr.; parents, Dyke and Lillie Ritman; daughters, Darcel and Willie Mae Jacobs; sons, Leroy, Andrew Lee, and Willie B. Donaldson, Herbert Jacobs; brother, Alphonzo Rit- man; sisters, Rosina Ritman, Mable Brown, Winifred Ben- jamin, Eller Mae Ramseur; and granddaughter, Carolyn Walker.
Sister Jacobs leaves fond, pre- cious and loving memories with: daughters, Carrie Bell and Verig- inell Donaldson, Jessica Kegler (Kenneth), Terri Ricketts (Steve); sons, Willie Jacobs, Jr. (Josie), Herman Jacobs (Mary), Christo- pher Jacobs; brother, Aaron Sim- mons, Jr.; sister, Marge Robinson; sisters-in law, Martha Donnell, Jessie B. Daniels, Rosie Abrams-Walker, Rosetta Jacobs; godson, Wayne Young; a host of grandchildren, great-grands, great-great-grands, nieces, nephews and cousins, too numer- ous to mention, as well as Church family and friends, whom carried a special place in her heart.
A Wake Service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 5 –8p.m.atNewMt.ZionM.B. Church, 2511 E. Columbus Dr., Tampa, FL.

Homegoing Services for Ms. Wilhelmina Smith-David- son, who passed away March 4, 2018, will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 11 a. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610, Pastor James G. Davis, Em- manuel God’s Church of Bradenton, officiating with As- sistant Pastor, Elder Ralph S. Johnson, Eulogist. Committal will be made at the chapel.
Wilhelmina T. Smith was born July 9, 1922 in Washing- ton, NC to the late John Smith and Lucinda Smith (Lathem). She later moved to New York and married Leroy Davidson. She attended New York Cathe- dral High School of Manhattan, New York. Wilhelmina Smith worked with Youth Children Board in Richland County in Columbia, South Carolina for many years.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, John Smith and Lucinda Smith; sister, Mable Smith; brothers, Henry Smith, John L. Smith, James H. Smith, Anthony Smith, and William T. Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving children, Gwendolyn Cathey, Charline (Sam) Lowman, Charles (Elvida) Davidson, Annette Davidson, Eric (Cynthia) Davidson, William Davidson; 16 grandchildren; 33 great- grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Wilhelmina Smith-Davidson will be held this Friday evening from 5-8 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home.
The processional will as- semble Saturday at 10:45 a. m. at the chapel.

MRS. DEBORAH LORRAINE WATSON
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Deborah Lorraine Watson, who passed away March 2, 2018, will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610.
Mrs. Deborah Lorraine Wat- son was born February 28, 1953, in Tampa, FL, to the union of Mrs. Jacquelyn Valdez and Mr. Nathaniel Watson. Deborah was a graduate of Middleton Sr. High School, Class of 1970, where she was Valedictorian. She attended the University of Miami. She was employed through the years with Hillsborough County, Tri-Care and Humana.
She later went back to school and obtained a degree in Medical Coding. Prior to her illness and death, she was retired.
She enjoyed watching the History Channel, doing challeng- ing crossword puzzles and watch- ing her favorite Soap Opera. She was an avid Buccaneers and Green Bay Packers fan.
Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by: her mother, Jacquelyn Overton; father, Nathaniel Wat- son; brother, Michael Mullins; grandmother, Emma Morrison; aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie (Mae Emma) Ball, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her fondest memories: loving and de- voted sister, Inez Watson (Her- man); nephew, Dr. Tony M. (Adrienne) Watson, Sr.; nieces, Angela Reeder and Charmaine Story; uncle, Pender Noriega; great nephew, Tony M. Watson, Jr.; great nieces, Natalia Watson and Emmarie Watson; step-fa- ther, Hugh Overton; cousins, Christine (James) Poole, Barbara Ball-Bell, Doris Jones, John (Cas- sandra) Ball, Charlie (Patricia) Ball, LaDonna Morrison, Susan Morrison, Rev. MR. GREGORY ANTHONY PHILLIPS
Funeral Services for Mr. Gre- gory Anthony Phillips will be held at Integrity Funeral Serv- ices, 3822 E. 7th Ave., Tampa, on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 1 p. m., with Supt. Jadie Singletary, officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Mr. Gregory Anthony Phillips was born December 14, 1957 in Miami, Florida. He was a native of Samson, Alabama, and resident of Tampa for 40 years. He was educated in Geneva County Public Schools and grad- uated from E. J. Lewis High School.
Mr. Phillips loved music, dancing and enjoyed being with family and friends. Gregory worked in the transportation field and held various jobs around Tampa. Before his ill- ness, he was employed with Caldeco Air Conditioning and Heating.
Gregory was preceded in death by: his parents, John M. Reed and Annie Phillips- Bowens; grandparents, Julius C. Phillips, Dora L. Bostick, Mace Reed, and Ethel Lee Davis; aunts, Martha Ferguson and Rena Mae Brooks; a special cousin, Callie Marie Caver.
