Spike Lee Releases Short Film Connecting Murders
Usher Donates Food To Families In Atlanta During COVID-19 Pandemic
    In the wake of the murder of George Floyd at the hands of police officer Derek Chau- vin, Academy Award-winning director and activist Spike Lee has released a short film connecting Floyd's murder to the death of Eric Garner and Radio Raheem, a character in his film, Do The Right Thing.
Titled Will History Stop Re- peating Itself?, the video was posted on Lee's Twitter ac- count with a caption that reads “3 Brothers-Radio Raheem, Eric Garner And George Floyd.”
The video originally de- buted on CNN. In an interview with Don Lemon, Lee said,

In addition to the emer- gency relief, Usher and volun- teers from New Look donated plant-based meals to feed nearly 350 people in the Clay- ton County community.
"We really wanted to offer them just some comfort, some food, and also let them know that they are not forgotten," Usher said.

Funeral Services
Floyd Mayweather will pay for the funeral services for George Floyd, according to a Mayweather representative.
Floyd, who was black, died last week in Minneapolis after Derek Chauvin, a white po- lice officer, kneeled on his neck for more than eight min- utes. Chauvin, who was fired on Tuesday, was charged Fri- day with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
Floyd's death sparked protests across the United States over the weekend.
