AIKENS
MR. RAYMOND A. CHARLES
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Raymond A. Charles of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020, will be held Saturday, June 6th, 4 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Dr. W. James Favorite, former pastor of Beulah Baptist Institution Church, officiating.
Raymond was born March 13, 1932, in St. Kitts, U. S. Virgin Is- land. He worked for the Tampa Shipyard and Hillsborough County School Board, as a Cross- ing Guard. He enjoyed watching football, going to church singing in the choir.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Jonathan Charles and Annie Liburd; daughter, Jen- nifer Charles and uncle, Samuel Charles.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his chil- dren, Laverne Liburd Charles, Craig Liburd Charles, Leighton Liburd Charles, Dezray Williams, Charlene Wilkes, Jeneal Wilkes, Horteze Wilkes Charles, Delbert Wilkes, Megan Charles and Lisa Jones; stepchildren, Rena Iman, Nathaniel Pope and Calvin Dumas; nephew, Chevalier Charles; grandchildren, Britney Charles (Marvin), Brianna Bivins, Levelle Bivins, Cornelius Bivins, Beatrice Bivins, Alexis Bivins, Darryl Young, Jr. Denai Young (Ariel), Dequan Young, Shaniya Taylor, Nakayla Taylor, Ja’Nivea Rogers and JaNia Rogers; a host of other grand- children from St. Kitts; a host of great-grandchildren from the states and St. Kitts; special friend, Lisa Jones and Lula Williams.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, from5to7p.m.Thefamilyand friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the serv- ice. The CDC guidelines will be followed.

MS. GAYLE WIMBLEY
A Homegoing Visitation for Ms. Gayle Wimbley of Tampa, Florida, who passed away, Thurs- day, May 28th, will be held on Fri- day,June5th,from4to6p.m.at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd.
Gayle Patrice Davis Wimbley was born February 10, 1956 in Perry, Georgia, to the late E. B. and Odessa Davis. She was the 6th of 8 children. She attended the schools of Hillsborough County. Before moving to Tampa she at- tended Morning Star M. B. Church in Princeton, Florida, under the leadership of the late Rev. W. H. Faison. Gayle was em- ployed with the Casper’s Corp., McDonalds in Tampa, Florida. She gave birth to her pride and joy one daughter, Shonte Davis.
On Thursday, May 28, 2020,d the Lord walked through his beautiful garden, which he planted and plucked his rose name, Gayle.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; and siblings, Arthur J. Davis, Phyllis Davis Singleton, Eddie Lee Davis, Yolanda Davis, Lizzie Mae Judge, Melvene Palmer-Robinson, and a very dear god-sister, Helen West; and a life-long companion, Russell N. Simpson.
She leaves to cherish and em- brace her loving memories of her with: her precious jewel, Shonte Davis; estranged spouse, Vernon Wimbley; 2 dedicated grandchil- dren, Jamarcus (Rickyael) and Zania; brother, Eugene Davis (Terry); special niece, Vickie Thompkins; 2 very supportive nieces, Pebbles Smith and Aretha Collins; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, and other fam- ily members; special friends, Betty, Christine, Dorothy and Julia.
The family will be present during the visitation to greet the friends. The CDC guidelines will be followed.

MRS. LELA VEE BANKS MIELDON
Mrs. Lela Vee Banks Miel- don of Quincy, FL passed away Thursday, May 28th, 2020. A gravesite ceremony will be con- ducted on Saturday, June 6th, 2020 at 10 a. m., at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Pastor Eugene Garnette officiating.
Lela Mieldon was born on September 25th, 1961 to Mattie Mae Wright and Eddie Banks. Lela graduated from Tampa Bay Technical High School in 1979. After graduating, she was employed at the United States Post Office for many years. She was a devoted and amazing mother to her daughter, An- toinette. She had an effect on every single person she met. She loved doing sudoku and puzzles, spending time with her loved ones, and making her famous Red Velvet Cake.
Lela was preceded in death by: parents, Mattie Wright and Eddie Banks; aunt and uncle, Addie and James Burney, and late husband, William Smith.
She is survived by: her hus- band, Jeff Mieldon; loving daughter, Antoinette McGuire; 4 devoted siblings, Horace Moore, Melvin Wright (Brenda), Barbara Wright (Leon), and Freddie Wright (Phyllis); a host of nieces and nephews; cousins in surround- ing areas; and special friends, Mary, Fran, and Elder Lillian Zakay.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Harmon Funeral Home. There will be no repass due to the current pandemic.

MR. JOHN EARL SIMMONS, JR.
Just before the break of dawn on Sunday, May 31, 2020, Mr. John Earl Simmons, Jr., was called from labor to his eternal rest.
Mr. Simmons was born Au- gust 2, 1962, to the parentage of Mr. John Earl Simmons, Sr. and the late Mrs. Julia Mae Sim- mons, in Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the Hillsbor- ough County School System.
John accepted Christ at an early age, and was baptized at First Baptist Church of West Tampa. He was employed by Morrison Cafeteria and later he became employed by Stanley Steamer.
John, Jr. was preceded in death by: his mother, Julia Mae Simmons; grandmother, Lena Mae Williams; great-grand- mother, Julia Mae Williams; and uncle, Clement Williams.
He leaves behind to lament his passing: father, John Earl Simmons, Sr. (Rebecca); sisters, Linda Aikens, Bridgett Sim- mons and Cynthia Simmons; brother, Ronald Simmons; nephews, Raymond Burden, Derrick Jackson, Ronald Sim- mons, Jr. and (Crystal), Joshua Rife and Carris Aikens; nieces, Fenneica Simmons, Jessica Rife, Ariana Simmons and Bri- ani Simmons; and a host of grand nephews and nieces, whose life he touched. There- fore, everyone who has alpha- bets from A to Z in their name is now acknowledged here. We love you!
Visitation will be held Fri- day, June 5, 2020, from 6 p. m. until 7 p. m., at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 North 40th Street, Tampa, Florida 33610. Please adhere to CDC guidelines.

MS. DOMETRICA CHIFFON STEWART (‘KANDI’)
A Homegoing Celebration for Dometrica Stewart of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020, will be held Saturday, June 6th, 11 a. m. at Aikens Fu- neral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Pastor Clarence Nathan, of New Victory Baptist Church, officiating.
Dometricia Chiffon Stewart was born March 18, 1977. She graduated from Hillsborough High School in June 1995. Shortly after, she enrolled in the Florida School of Business, where she was awarded for suc- cessfully completing the training on AIDS and Infection Control in 1996. She later received her li- cense after completing training with Hillsborough County Early Childhood Association. She also graduated from Suncoast Insti- tution completing the nursing program in pharmacy tech and phlebotomist; she received a certificate for completing the Junior Achievement program of Project Business. She was recog- nized for participating in the 7th annual essay contest for African American month. She worked at Healthpoint Medical Group as a medical assistant.
She loved doing hair and going to the beach, her smile lit up any room she entered. The best part about her was how she really enjoyed being a mom.
She was preceded in death by: her grandfather, Jessie James and cousin, Damien.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her children, JaJuan Stewart and Jazzerick and Stevette Bowers; grandchildren, Leah Stewart, Mondrell George, Jr., Jajuan Stewart, Jr. and Billion Bogan; mother, Margie Stewart; sister, Leslie Randall; aunts, Betty Jean and Esther Stewart; uncles, Halim Hosian, Randy, David, Daniel and Jesse Stewart; nieces, Jamecia and Ashanti Rogers and Telisha Matthews; nephews, Remus Randall and Jerry Rogers; cousins, Ranisha, Embraja and Damien Stewart, Jamil Burden, Jessica Robinson, De’Shawn, Shawntrice, Tre’Shawn and Tae’Shawn Singfield; close friends, Ozzie, Shareka.
