A new TV series is coming to television, and it’s going to be based on the life of hip-hop su- perstar Nas.
“Street Dreams” will be set against a backdrop of the 1990s, when a young Nas was coming of age.
The time period was chroni- cled on his breakthrough album Illmatic, while the se- ries takes its name from his “Street Dreams” single from his album It Was Written.

TV personality Terrence Jenkins (best known as “Ter- rence J”) has signed a first- look production and talent deal with MTV and VH1.
Jenkins’ company, Jenkins Entertainment Group, will de- velop and executive produce original content for both net- works.
Jenkins himself will also pro- vide on-air hosting duties throughout the year for projects such as tentpole pre-shows, live events, after shows and original series.
The ‘106 and Park’, E! News’ and ‘Think Like A Man’ star can be seen on MTV now as the host of the “Are You The One?” live follow, “Aftermatch.”
50 Cent Files $32M Lawsuit Against His Lawyers In Sex-Tape Case
50 Cent has pulled the ulti- mate legal switch by turning the tables on his former lawyers.
According to The Wrap, the Queens musician filed a hefty $32-million claim against the lawyers he’d originally hired to represent him in the Lastonia Leviston sex-tape case.
The rapper blames those at the Reed Smith law firm — in- cluding attorney Peter Ray- mond — for his bankruptcy, which he filed for in 2015, shortly after he was ordered to pay Leviston $7 million.

‘Training Day’ Director Antoine Fuqua Drops Out Of ‘Scarface’ Remake
Antoine Fuqua has pulled out of directing the “Scarface” remake due to a scheduling clash.
The “Training Day” director came onboard the project last summer and was due to helm a modern-day reimagining of the gangster classic, which starred Al Pacino in 1983 and Paul Muni in the 1932 original.
However, he has now had to drop out of the project as it clashes with the sequel to his 2014 movie “The Equalizer,” which Sony studio executives reportedly want to be made as soon as possible.
