MR. JAMES ‘PEE WEE’ TILLMAN
Funeral service for Mr. James “Pee Wee” Tillman who passed away on January 31, 2017 will be held on Fri- day, February 3, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida with Minister Bridgette Parham, officiat- ing. Friends and family may continue to view his remains after the service from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, L. W. Tillman and Gladys Hester; son, Rod- ney; sister, Linda and brother, John.
Mr. Tillman leaves to cher- ish memories of him with: four children, Demetris, Lu- cius, James and Lisa Tillman; a host of grandchildren; sib- lings, Ann Siplin, Carolyn (Carlewyle) Baldwin, Chris- tine (LaBronn) Reddick and Gloria (Joe) Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews; longtime companion, Loretta Pitts; special friends, Linda (Cookie) Hawk, Emily John- son, Bobby Harshaw and Ho- race Pitts and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
Mr. Tillman was born on July 4, 1945 in Baxley, Geor- gia. He was the eldest child of L. W. Tillman and Gladys Hester. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County. Mr. Tillman later relocated to Detroit, MI and resided there for 41 years. After retiring from ABC Paving Construction Company in Detroit, he re- turned to Tampa, in 2012.

MRS. MINNIE MOORE ROSS
Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Minnie Moore Ross of Tampa who transitioned from this life on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 will be held on Satur- day, February 4, 2017 at 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Boulevard, Tampa, Dr. Sam Maxwell, Sr., Senior Pastor with Rev. Dr. Zachary S. Hudson, Pastor of Re-Birth Missionary Baptist Church, of- ficiating. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa.
Minnie was preceded in death by: her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodis (Mazzie) Moore, Sr.; and siblings, Helen Moore Butts and Larry Moore.
Minnie leaves fond memo- ries with: her son, Patrick G. Ross; her beloved puppy, Samantha Josephine Ross; stepdaughter, Kim Pottinger; and their father/ex-husband, William Ross. Minnie also leaves behind: two brothers, Theodis Moore, Jr. and wife, Veronica Moore, Gregory Moore and his wife, Antoinette Moore; aunts, Ruby Diggs and Maggie Moore; uncles, Zebbie Thompkins and wife, Mamie, Aubrey Thompkins and wife, Lois; nieces, Calandra Wade, Jasmin Plummer and Victoria Moore; nephews, Michael Butts, Jr., John Moore, Christopher Plummer and Vic- tor’ Mychal Moore; a host of cousins too numerous to name, and a number of de- voted friends and other rela- tives.
Minnie was born on January 31, 1951 in Dublin, Georgia. She was a longtime resident of Tampa. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County, graduating with honors from Middleton High School, Class of 1969. She ma- triculated to Hillsborough Community College where she received her AA Degree. Later, she attended the University of South Florida, where she at- tained her BA Degree in Social and Behavioral Science in 1981. She furthered her educa- tion at University of Phoenix and she attained her Master’s Degree in Organizational Man- agement in 2005.
Minnie was a member of Re-Birth Missionary Baptist Church. Minnie’s employment history included HRS and State of Florida Department of Corrections from where she retired in 2005. After retire- ment she was a professor at Everest College. Minnie was known for her infectious smile and no nonsense demeanor and always sought perfection in whatever she was involved in.
Her remains will repose from 5 – 8 p. m. on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at approx- imately 10:45 a. m. for the service.

MRS. LULA BELL CARROLL ENGLISH TUCKER
Celebration of life service for Mrs. Lula Bell Carroll English Tucker, who transitioned peacefully into her eternal rest on Sunday, January 29, 2017, will be held on Saturday, Feb- ruary4,2017at11a.m.at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 3410 E. Wilder Av- enue, Tampa, Florida with Rev. Joseph Sykes, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by: her parents, Ben and Eunice Josey Carroll; her hus- band, Trummer Tucker; her former husband, Robert Eng- lish, Sr.; son-in-law, Arthur Lee Ellington; and also her thirteen siblings.
Memories of Mrs. Tucker will be etched eternally in the thankful hearts of: a loving son, Robert (Darlene) English, Jr. of Beckley, WV; a devoted daugh- ter and caregiver, Genevieve Ellington of Tampa; one grand- son, Robert (Melanie) Elling- ton of Orlando, FL; two granddaughters, Nycole (Michael) Ellington-Jones of St. Petersburg, FL, Nicholle (Greg) Claypoole, Parkersburg, WV; three great grandson, Marquay Ellington of Tampa, David Michael Jones of St. Peters- burg, FL and Zachary Davis, Parkersburg, WV; two great granddaughters, Kennedy Ny- cole Jones of St. Petersburg, FL and Sydney Olivia Jones of St. Petersburg, FL; two great-great grandsons; two dedicated sis- ters, Mary Carroll-Brantley and Anna Bell Carroll-Johnson, both of Tampa, FL; special nieces including, Peggie Lundy, Ruth Wilcox and Gloria Glover, all of Tampa; special nephews including, Garfield “Billy” (Di- etra) Glover of Parkersburg, WV and Charlie (Patricia) Eng- lish, Jr. of Tampa; one sister- in-law, Lula Bell Carroll, Orlando, FL; special friends, Home Health Care Aides, Cassie Edwards and Princess, staff at Ybor Healthcare & Re- habilitation Center; our "An- gels of Mercy", Micheline, Sylvia, Dana, LaTonya (her niece), Mario, Dr. Brunel Joseph and Dr. Lawrence Petty; devoted neighbors in- cluding, James (Linda) Copeland, Sheldon (Janie) Smith, Rev. Bruce and Martina Strange, Essie Chaney and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
Sister Lula Bell Carroll-Eng- lish-Tucker was born on May 10, 1929 to parentage of Ben- jamin and Eunice Carroll in Rembert, SC. She attended the schools of Kershaw County. She relocated to Tampa, FL in 1960 and united with the love of her life, the late Trummer Tucker.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, February 3, 2017 from 5 – 8 p. m. and the family will re- ceive friends from 7 – 8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at approxi- mately 10:45 a. m. for the serv- ice.
