MR. SAM SNEAD
Mr. Sam Snead of Tampa, Thonotosassa, and Lakeland, FL, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016.
The homegoing services will be held Saturday, March 5,2016,at3p.m.atthe Macedonia M. B. Church, 9750 Rock Hill Road at High- way 301, Thonotosassa, FL, Rev. B. Jackson, pastor, with Elder Calvin McDonald, eu- logist.
Sam was a retired owner and operator of a semi-truck, hauling for McClendon Trucking.
Sam enjoyed playing golf and tennis. He was a gradu- ate of Middleton High School, class of 1966.
He was the loving father of: Daphney Snead; and grandfather of A’Sha Shep- ard.
Sam was loved and re- spected by: his sister, broth- ers, niece, nephews, and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Adell Snead; father, Eugene Snead; sister, Loretha McWhite; and grandparents, Fred and Min- nie Kelly.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving daugh- ter, Daphney Snead; grand- daughter, A’Sha Shepard; ex-wife, Jewell Snead; sister, Janice Snead; brothers, Nor- ris Snead (Kathy), Bernard Snead (Anita), and Kenneth Snead; niece, Tonia; nephews, Tony, Brian, Rus- sell, Darrell, Kevin, Bernard, Jr., Roscoe, Anthony, Eric, Ryan, Corey and Aaron; nu- merous great nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends; special friends, Mag- gie Butler, Charles Walker, Thelma Williams and Nevaeh Williams.

MR. CURTIS JEROME BAILEY
Mr. Curtis Jerome Bailey of Tampa, the son of the late Gwendolyn Sistrunk, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 5 at 2 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, with Pas- tor Donald Lott, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mr. Curtis J. Bailey was a native of Tampa, and was ed- ucated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, graduating from Plant High School, Class of 1975.
He enlisted into the United States Army in 1978 and served 171⁄2 years retiring in 1995. He began a second ca- reer as a Truck Driver at Nu- Air Manufacturing and work for 14 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 37 years, Cynthia; two sons, Jerome Bailey and wife, Ter- isha, and Anthony Bailey; three sisters, Deborah Lott and husband, Alan of Kansas City, MO, Ruth Marshall, and Sharon Mitchell and hus- band, Gregory; four grand- children, Na'Ashia Bailey, Na'Tyeria Bailey, Jaevon Bai- ley and Jerome Bailey, Jr.; step-grandson, Brandon Jones; four nieces, Deborish Bailey, Sharlettha Marshall, Di'saree St. Vale and hus- band, Anthony, and Andrea Campbell; three nephews, Robert Young, Jr., Perry Campbell and Timothy Lott; mother-in-law, Mary Mc- Gruder; three brothers-in- law, Earl McGruder, Shennandoa McGruder and wife, Renee, and Eddie Mc- Gruder, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends of Florida and Georgia; includ- ing devoted cousins, Aubrey Lemons, Carl Bailey and wife Pamela, and Eric Bailey and wife, Darleen; and special friend, Alfonso Henry and wife, Deborah of Ozark, AL.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m., Friday, March 4 at Ray Williams Funeral Home and the family will re- ceive friends from 6-7 p. m. at the chapel.

MRS. MATTIE JEFFERSON COLEMAN
Mrs. Mattie Jefferson Coleman of Tampa passed away Friday, February 26, 2016.
Funeral services will be conducted, Saturday, March 5 at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mrs. Mattie Jefferson Coleman was born on Sep- tember 21, 1934 to the union of George and Mattie Jeffer- son.
Mattie was known for her kind heart, beautiful smile, great cooking and the love of helping others. She cooked as if she was feeding an army, when asked why did she cooked so much food she would simply reply, "You never know who might stop by and need something to eat."
This loving matriarch pro- vided support and guidance for more than just her chil- dren and grandchildren she touched so many other lives. If there was someone in need no matter what it was, if there was anything she could do to help she would.
Mattie was preceded in death by: her parents; loving husband of 52 years, Willie Coleman; children, Elizabeth Coleman and Jimmie L.
Brown; grandson, Terrance D. Coleman; son-in-law, Ed- ward L. Barker; and three brothers and five sisters.
This wonderful matriarch leaves a legacy to mourn her existence: daughters, Patri- cia Coleman Agard (Clarence), Mary Coleman Barker, Shamika Coleman and Jacqueline Jones (Her- bert); sons, Willie B. Cole- man, Lonnie E. Coleman (Antoinette), William Cole- man (Rhonda), Ronnie Cole- man, Calvin Coleman and Nathaniel Coleman; grand- daughters, Belinda Wilson, Niya Crawford, RaSheeda Crawford Yates, Taranika Sutherland, Tequlia Dunn, Asia Johnson, Jaala Coleman and Lauren Coleman; grand- sons, Melvin Sessions (Damita), Willie Coleman, Jr., Reeche M. Wise, Jr. (Nicole), Dontae' Coleman, Shyn Coleman, Robert Cole- man and William D. Cole- man; twenty-six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; special sisters, Elizabeth Powell and Edna Brown, and three other sisters; brother, Homer Jefferson; sister-in- law, Azalean Shockley; niece, Angie Howard; very, very special people, Oliver John- son, Patti and Edward Kampsen, Kris Kampsen, Keri Kampsen, Rick and Charlene Colbert, Susan Cruz (Robert), Nancy Rankin and family, Percy and Shelia Harden, Phebie Gladden White, Twanda Woodall (James), Eugene Pearson, Jr., Hazel Montgomery, Willie and Angela Ousley, Ernestine Bennett (Otto), and Deborah Jonesia; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Earl Russell Lane, Sr. of Tampa, passed away, Sun- day, February 28, 2016.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 2 p. m. at College Hill Church of God in Christ, 6414 N. 30th Street, with Su- perintendent Charles Davis, pastor, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
After enduring the spiri- tual race of life, the flood gates opened and called our loved one, Earl Lane home.
There he is reunited with: his parents, Lillian F. and Walter Lane, Sr.; Mary Frances Lane, the loving mother of his 3 children; his 5 brothers, Alexander Lane, Julius Lane, Sr., K. Edward Lane, Larry Lane and Leo Lane; and a precious daugh- ter-in-law, Myrtis Lane, all whom preceded him in death.
As a man of faith, commit- ment, and determination, Earl Lane, Sr. leaves to re- member him forever: a lov- ing wife, Willie Mae Lane; a daughter, Reverend Sheryl Lane; 2 sons, Earl Lane, Jr. (Sharon), and Darrell Lane, Sr.; 6 step children, Willie Charles Conage, Solomon Davis, III, Robert Davis, Willie Ernest Davis, Peggy Berger, and Ellastine Light- body; sister, Mary Nichol- son; brother-in-law, Charlie Walden; 11 grandchildren, Anthony Sims, AaLannie Lane, James Moore, Shar- rick Moore, Darrell Lane Jr., Jasmine Lane, Anthony Lane, Isaac Lang, Sarah Lang, Colby Lane and Ashley Lane; nieces, Leah Brown, Adrienne Lane, Julie Lane, Sylvia Lane and Nichola Hill; nephews, Larry Lane, Bobby Nicholson and Julius Lane, Jr.; special family friend, Michelle Lane; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and sor- rowing friends.
