Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Matthew Ballard, who went home to be with Jehovah on February 23, 2016, sur- rounded by her close family and friends, will be held Satur- day, March 5, 2016 at 11 a. m. at Kingdom Hall, 1901 E. Giddens Ave., Tampa, with the Brother Eric Atterberry, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
“Mrs. Punch,” as she was called, was a longtime resi- dent of Tampa. She loved to share her knowledge of Jeho- vah God. She enjoyed travel- ling, family gatherings and cooking for her family.
She is survived by: her loving and devoted husband of over 60 years, Mr. George Ballard; 2 children, Patricia Murray and Michael Strong; 9 grandchil- dren, Kenneth Ballard, Kevin Ballard, Matthew Ballard, Brian Plummber (Nicki), Shameka Strong, Linda Strong, Michael Strong Jr., Chelle Stong and Mica Strong; as well as a host of nephews, nieces and great- grandchildren; all of her spiri- tual brothers and sisters of Jehovah; special family and friends, Rebecca Wallace, Dylan Miller, Joel Richmond (Jackie), Stanley Richmond (Betty) and son, Ronald, Kim Boyce, Walter Reed (Rhona), John Charlton (Mildred), Eric Atterberry and family, Reginald Houston, Jean- nie Shackelford and her girls; and the Seminole Heights Con- gregation in Tampa.

Sharon was the daughter of the late Frank Bizzell, Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL, and Delores Suggs, of Tallahassee, FL. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a faithful member of the River International Church in Thonotosassa, FL. Sharon attended public school in St. Petersburg, FL. Her oc- cupation was doing God’s work, raising beautiful, loyal children, and making the best frozen cups EVER.
She is preceded in death by: her father, Frank Bizzell, Jr.; and 2 grandmothers.
She leaves to mourn her de- mise: 2 sisters, Priscilla Grant and Willie Mae Bizzell (Joe); 4 brothers, Frank A. Bizzell (Shawn), Willie C. Bizzell (Dag- mar), Scott J. Bizzell (Vanessa), and Ernest C. Moore, Jr. (Valarie); daughter, LaShay R. Wheeler; 2 special nieces, Alyshia A. Moore and Elaina Green; 2 special nephews, Scott Bizzell, Jr. and Earnest T. Moore; uncle, Jake Bizzell; 2 aunts, Ernestine Phillips and Annie Bell Bizzell; cousins, Sheila Collins, Ernest and Charlie Weaver, Natha Lee Hunt, Deidra Brown, Tony and Reesy; a host of other cousins, nieces and children she helped raise; and 4 devoted friends, Alonzo Cutler, Johnny Miller, Shawn Harris and Nikita.

MR. DARREN LEON TAYLOR, SR.
Homegoing celebration for Mr. Darren Leon “Boo” Taylor, Sr. who passed away February 20, 2016, will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 11 a. m. at Mt. Tabor Missionary Church, 2606 West Grace Street, Tampa, with Rev. Leonard, of- ficiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Darren was born November 21, 1967 in Tampa. He was ed- ucated in a number of stateside schools, as well as, overseas schools due to the military du- ties of his father. He graduated from Brandon High School in 1986. He was master in culi- nary arts and was associated with Piccadilly, Lee Roy Sel- mon’s and Harbor Island Mar- riott. He later became a food service manager until his ill- ness.
He was preceded in death
by: paternal grandparents, Deacon Arthur and Sister Vic- toria James, and Deacon Cleophas Taylor and Sister Al- tamease Burney.
Darren was a faithful mem- ber of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, under the teachings of Pastor T. D. Leonard.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving and devoted wife of 21 years, Mrs. Denitra Hughes Taylor; daughter, Ke- hara L. Taylor; 4 sons, Darren L. Taylor, Jr., Bobbie D. Hughes, Darrius L. Taylor and De’Norris L. Taylor; grand- child, Alanna Hugee; parents, Theodore and Mary Taylor; brother, Reginald Taylor; sis- ter, Tadiah Taylor (Jessie); 2 uncles, Davie L. James ( Mary “Peggy”), and Charles E. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
At and early age Mother Grif- fin Virginia accepted Christ and was baptized at Antioch Mis- sionary Baptist Church in Eu- faula, Alabama. She was educated at Antioch Elementary School and attended Van Buren High School.
Mother Virginia White Grif- fin was born to the late Colonel White, Jr. and Marybell Petty White.
She was preceded in death by: 4 brothers, Solomon White, Sr., Samuel White, Colonel White, III, and James White; and a son, Curtis Griffin.
Mother Virginia Griffin was a native of Eufaula, Alabama and a resident of Tampa for 63 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving, devoted husband, Arthur Griffin; daughter, Mary Pearson (Jhonny); son, Robert White; daughter, Catherine Cannon (Leroy Cannon); sisters, Catherine Ford and Gloria Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchil- dren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Janie was a faithful member of the New Rising Star Mission- ary Baptist Church. She was employed at Palma Ceia Golf & Country Club. She received her education at Rebecca High School.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories: her 2 children, her sisters, her nephews and nieces, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved them as much as they loved her.
