Organizations To Host Community Political Forum
On Thursday, February 21st, TOBA (Tampa Organiza- tion of Black Affairs) and the Hillsborough County Branch of the NAACP will host a po- litical forum. The purpose of the forum is to allow mem- bers of the community to meet and greet candidates seeking election.
Other sponsors include the Sierra Club, the Tampa Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., The Links, Inc., and several others.

The forum will be held at Middleton High School, 4801 N. 22nd Street. The doors will open at 5 p.m. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m.
It will feature candidates vying for positions as the Mayor of the City of Tampa, as well as representatives vying for seats on the City Council.

NEWPORT NEWS, VA --- Information Systems Technician 1st Class Gerry Myers, of Clearwater, right, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) combat sys- tems department, receives a Military Outstanding Vol- unteer Service Medal during an awards-at-quarters ceremony.
