COVID – 19 FEMA Funeral Reimbursement Program
Applications are being ac- cepted to reimburse up to $9,000 in funeral related ex- penses that were paid due to a COVID-19 death.
Under the Coronavirus Re- sponse and Relief Supplemen- tal Appropriations Act of 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, FEMA will provide financial assistance for COVID- 19-related funeral expenses in- curred after January 20, 2020.
