Boseman’s Family Says They Don’t Consider His Loss A Snub
Drake And Chrome Hearts Designed A One-Of-One Rolls-Royce For Him
The family of the late Chad- wick Boseman has spoken out following his best actor loss at the Oscars to acknowledge Anthony Hopkins and clarify that they don’t believe Bose- man was snubbed.
According to TMZ, Bose- man’s brother Derrick Bose- man said he and the family don’t consider the loss a snub because every nominated actor was deserving and while Chad- wick would have considered winning an “achievement,” it wasn’t an “obsession.”
Derrick went on to con- gratulate Hopkins, saying, "I"m sure [Anthony] would [have wished him well] if Chad won."
Boseman, who died of colon cancer in August, was nomi- nated for his role in “Ma

Rainey’s Black Bottom” for best actor, alongside Hopkins, who took home the award for his portrayal in “The Father.”
Best actor was the final award of the night, with many assuming it was by design to allow for a tribute to Bose- man, who was expected to win.
However, Hopkins ultimately won the award, and since he wasn’t present at the ceremony, the show ended abruptly.
Anthony Hopkins posted a video message Monday ac- knowledging the late Chad- wick Boseman after winning best actor at the Oscars on last Sunday in a shocking upset.
“Good morning. Here I am in my homeland of Wales and at 83 years of age I did not expect to get this award, I really didn’t. I’m very grateful to the Acad- emy, and thank you,” said Hopkins. “I want to pay trib- ute to Chadwick Boseman, who was taken from us far too early, and again thank you all very much. I really did not ex- pect this. So, I feel very privi- leged and honored ... thank you.”
Byron Allen Just Added 7 More TV Stations To His Repertoire Of TV Stations
The rapper also worked with the brand on a small collection of apparel and accessories.
It seems like, in Drake’s eyes, there is very little that can’t be improved by the signa- ture crosses of hardcore luxury brand—think lots of leather and advanced jewelry—Chrome Hearts. The rapper customized his Rolex with a gnarly CH band. He wore a custom bas- ketball jersey from the brand for his “Laugh Now Cry Later” video, co-owner Laurie Lynn Stark says. And now there’s a Rolls-Royce. Yes: Drake and Chrome Hearts teamed up for custom Rolls-Royce Cullinan
with quilted leather seats in a cross pattern and rims en- graved with the words “F**k You.”
The car itself is the result of over a year of work between Chrome Hearts and Drake, and the crown jewel of an album rollout with no real precedent. An exclusive collec- tion with Nike already broke new ground. His “Lemon Pep- per Freestyle”-featuring Scary Hours 2 was gratuitous. And now there’s a Rolls-Royce—oh, and a small collection of Drake x Chrome Hearts gear, too.
The car starts at $450,000. Drake’s customs Rolls Royce cost $1M.
The Bryon Allen train does- n’t seem to stop. As he contin- ues to add to his growing empire of television stations and properties across the United States, the entrepre- neurial comedian has just ac- quired seven more!
According to Gray Television, the company has reached an agreement with Bryon Allen’s Allen Media Group to acquire seven television stations for $380 million in cash.
“I truly appreciate Gray and Quincy, two of the best broad- cast groups in the business, working with us to acquire and

transfer these amazing assets. Over the past year-and-a-half, we’ve invested close to $1 bil-
lion to acquire best-in-class, top-tier, broadcast network af- filiates,” said Byron Allen, founder, chairman, and CEO of Allen Media Group in a written statement. “We plan to invest approximately ten billion dol- lars to acquire more ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX television sta- tions over the next two years with the goal of being the largest broadcast television group in America. All of our media assets, including these broadcast television stations, will work in concert to amplify our free-streaming service, Local Now.
