Enjoy books, rhymes, songs, and activities that the whole family can enjoy. This engaging program offers social interac- tion and builds reading skills. Most children should be walk- ing. For children ages 2-7 years and their caregivers.
Program capacity of 20 chil- dren and 1 caregiver is in place. Tickets will be available at the marked service desk 15 minutes prior to the event, on a first- come, first-served basis. One ticket per child and caregiver.

Recognizing Tampa Police Sergeant Kanyon Rodriguez
KANYON RODRIGUEZ
I would like to recognize Sergeant Rodriguez for all she has done. She joined the Tampa Police Department in 2005. I met her when she transferred to the SRO Unit in the year of 2007. She is a positive, strong Black woman on a path of up- ward success. I had the pleasure of being her supervisor dur- ing her 3 years with the SRO Unit. She then transferred back to Street Patrol.
In 2013, she was assigned as a police detective, then pro- moted to police corporal. In 2019, Kanyon was promoted to Sergeant. During her career, many letters of appreciation from the community were received.
I want to personally commend this woman for achieving the position of the first female, who is an African American, to the position of Command Sergeant of the City of Tampa Po- lice Honor Guard.
Most of all, she is one of our military veterans. Serving in the U. S. Army for 5 years as part of their military police. On this Veterans Day, Kanyon, may the Lord keep you and protect you all the days of your life! Thank you for your service!
