COVID-19 Vaccine Information
Progress Village Park, lo- cated at 8701 Progress Blvd., Tampa, FL, 33619, will be open from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M., Monday through Friday for residents who want a free COVID test or Pfizer vaccine. Walk-ins ac- cepted. Face masks are re- quired, except during the nasal swab.
In accordance with federal guidelines, health insurance information will be collected; however, individuals who do not have health insurance will still be tested. People being tested should bring a photo ID (driver’s license, state-issued ID, or passport) with name and date of birth, as well as their health insurance card (if appli- cable).

What Is Redistricting?
Redistricting is the consti- tutionally-mandated redraw- ing of local, state, and federal political boundaries every 10 years following the federal Census to account for changes in population during the previ- ous decade. Tuesday, Novem- ber 16th, 2021, at 6 P.M., the second Redistricting Public Hearing and Final Approval of A Single Map (Virtual).

Appointed To Mayor’s African American Advisory Council

Dorian Harris, a City of Tampa Water Department employee, was recently appointed by Mayor Jane Castor to serve on the Mayor’s African American Advisory Council (MAAAC). He is a member of the NAACP Hillsborough County Branch, 34th Street Church of God, where Bishop Thomas Scott is the Senior Pastor, and he’s a member of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade Foun- dation here in Tampa.
