Drake Shares Photo Of His 2-Year-Old Son Adonis
Gospel Singer Fred Hammond On Being Criticized For Collabing With Kanye West
FRED HAMMOND
When Gospel artist Fred Hammond was tapped by Kayne West to feature on his “Jesus is King” album, the singer knew he would face the same harsh criticism that was hurled his way when he worked with Snoop Dogg on “Call Him.”
“I lost a couple best friends — a husband and wife team walked away from me, called me a sinner,” said Ham- mond of his collab with the west coast rapper. “I’m almost 50; I’m solid and sober emo- tionally,” Hammond adds. “But it got rough for a
minute.”
Hammond says he made
the decision to work with West on the track “Hands On” when the hip-hop star ap- proached him at Chance The Rapper’s wedding.
“If nothing else, I knew a lot of the Christian world would not embrace him. I did some- thing for Snoop on his last record, and I got a lot of flak for it,” he said in an interview with Rolling Stone. “He got a lot of flak too. Religious peo- ple are very territorial. So I knew [Kanye] would have a hard time.”
Drake's latest post will have you in your feelings.
The rapper, 33, took to his Instagram Story late Monday night to share a rare snap of his 2-year-old son, Adonis. In the sweet picture, the tot is wear- ing socks with "I [heart] Daddy" written across the ankle and a Burberry sweatsuit because, of course, Drake's son is fashion-forward.
These days, it seems as if the

superstar is warming up to the
idea of sharing his son on so- cial media. (After all, he kept Adonis' birth a secret until 2018 when he dropped his album, Scorpion.) Just a few weeks ago, Drake gave an- other peek inside their lives, posting a photo from Adonis' 2nd birthday party. "Happy Birthday King," he captioned the photo, which showed off gold party decorations and a small Cookie Monster statue.

Michael Jackson Estate Acquires Sly And The Family Stone’s Catalog
The Estate of Michael Jackson/MIJAC Music has ac- quired the majority ownership of the U. S. rights to Sly and the Family Stone’s catalog. The Estate also owns the en- tirety of the band’s catalog out- side the United States, according to a press release.
The announcement arrives nearly one year after Primary Wave Music Publishing claimed to have “acquired an interest in the Sly and the Family Stone music catalog.” The Jackson Estate had disputed

Tory Lanez Paid 2 Chainz $50K For A Song
As Chixtape V's November 15 release date approaches, the world will see much more of Tory Lanez. The rapper- singer is making the press rounds promoting his forth- coming anticipated project, and recently he shared a few interesting tidbits with HipHopDX. We're expecting a bevy of guests on Chixtape V, but Tory claims that to date, he's never had to pay another artist for a feature. He credits that as being industry trade- offs with artists in an unspo- ken agreement of doing each other favors.

“I have paid for a clearance
for 2 Chainz," Tory added. "I didn't understand why I was paying for the clearance, but whatever. That's probably the closest thing I've ever... He charged me like, $50,000, bruh! I was mad as f*ck. I called that n*gga up like, 'Bruh, boy you trippin', bruh.' He was like, 'Nah, bruh. Lil Wayne charged me [$75,000], $100,000 one time.' I said, aight, cool." Tory did mention that the most he ever received for a feature was $150K after some artists in London dropped the cash to get him on their track.
