MR. KENNETH WARREN NELSON
A Homegoing Celebra- tion for Mr. Kenneth Warren Nelson of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Satur- day, April 22, 2017, will be held Saturday, April 29th, 3 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Pastor Del- bert Means, officiating. The interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Kenneth was born in New York City, New York on April 29, 1939 to the late Jesse and Margaret I. Nelson. He en- joyed watching sports and movies and also going on cruises.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; son, Darrell T. Nelson; brother, Reginald Nelson; sister, Clementine Headen.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories with: his wife, Shirley Ann Nelson; children, Paris W. Nelson (Sharon), Nadine E. Green (Carl), Darren J. Nelson (Cookie), Susan B. Nelson (Nick), Kenneth J. Nelson (Alicia), Carla E. Means (Del- bert), Reginald Nelson, Mis- ter Nelson, April Nelson and Willie Dismuke, Jr.; 31 grandchildren; 40 great- grandchildren; 9 nieces; 2 nephews; brother-in-law, James Rutledge (Judy); sis- ters-in-law, Nancy Tillman, Evelyn Wright and Angela Hicks (James); lifelong friends, G-Mart and Sonny; a host of other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, April 28th from 5 p. m. to 8 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5 p. m. to 6 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.

MR. ALTON EUGENE BASS
A Memorial Service for Mr. Alton Eugene Bass, “Baby Gene” of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017, will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 6 p. m. to 7 p. m.
Alton was born July 12, 1957 to the late Charlie and Susie Bass. He was known as “Baby Gene.” He attended Hillsborough High School and because of his desire to be helpful, he was often found doing community service for various churches. His imagina- tion was a gift and expressed at a young age; as an artist he drew science fictional charac- ters as a hobby.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Charlie and Susie Bass; uncles, Leon Cole- man and George Coleman; and aunt, Rose Overton.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories with: his aunt, Annie Bright of Tampa, FL; brothers, Louis Hall (Car- rol) of Miami, FL, Charles Bass and Blair Bass (Tammy) of Tampa; sisters, Leta Bond (Christopher) of Columbus, OH, Yvonne Bass and Ovita Dove of Tampa; a host of nieces and nephews; a devoted friend, Kent Williams; a host of other loving relatives and friends.
The friends are asked to meet at the funeral home on Friday for the service.

MRS. SABRINA ANN GRIFFIN
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Sabrina Ann Griffin of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017, will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017, 10 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Cynthia John- son, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Florida National Cemetery.
Sabrina was born on April 19, 1957 in Tulsa, Okla- homa to the late Donnell and Juanita Cowans. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family and going to the beach. She moved to Tampa in 1987 from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She leaves to cherish her memories with her: hus- band, Rickey Griffin; chil- dren, Angie Cowans, Dena Hawkins, Jenita Cowans and Wykena Johnson; grandchil- dren, Marquise Hawkins, Jimmylla Hawkins, Brian Hawkins, Dshonna Hawkins and Keonta Dockens; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Allen Gilton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Thursday, April 27th from 4 to 6 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Friday for the service.

MS. SHYEANNE LEWIS ‘BABY GIRL’
A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Shyeanne Lewis “Baby Girl” of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 will be held Sat- urday, April 29th, 1:30 p. m. at Cathedral of Faith Church, Inc., 6304 N. 30th Street, Apos- tle James H. Howell, pastor, with Pastor Richard Martin, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Shyeanne was born June 8, 1993 in Tampa, Florida. She graduated from Chamberlain High School, class of 2011 and also graduated from HCC, class of 2016. She was cur- rently enrolled at USF, major- ing in Marine Biology. Shyeanne loved to watch movies, spending time with her family, friends and her beloved dog, Precious.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her parents, Angela Martin and Eric Lewis; grandparents, Jerry Martin, Darria Martin and Diane House; aunts, Sab- rina Martin and Tiffany Mar- tin; uncle, Daven Padgett; cousins, Malachi Martin and Aislyn Martin; a host of other aunts, uncles, friends and rel- atives.

MS. DARLENE YVETTE MOORE
A Celebration of Life for Ms. Darlene Yvette Moore of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017, will be held Sunday, April 30th. The viewing will begin at 2 p. m. and the service at 3 p. m. at Mt. Calvary Sev- enth-Day Adventist Church, 4902 N. 40th St., Elder Rudyard James, officiating, with Pastor Curtis Crider, eulogist.
Darlene was born Novem- ber 12, 1971 in Tampa, Florida. Ms. Moore was the daughter of Charles Henry Moore, Jr. and Rose Williams Moore Durand. Ms. Moore attended Mt. Cal- vary Jr. Academy and Tampa Adventist Academy. She fur- thered her education at Oak- wood University and received her B. S. in English Education from the University of South Florida.
Ms. Moore was employed by the State of Florida with the Department of Children and Families, DCF (formerly HRS) for ten years until she became disabled. Ms. Moore was multi-talented and a lover of music, enjoyed playing the piano, drawing and painting; however, her passion was serv- ing people.
Ms. Moore was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Henry and Sarah Williams; uncle, George B. Williams; and brother, Charles Henry David Moore.
Ms. Moore leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her 2 children, daughter, Alexandria Rose Moore; son, Quentin Cornelius Moore; fa- ther, Charles H. Moore, Jr.; mother, Rose Williams Du- rand; step-father, Rodney Du- rand; uncle, Chaplain Henry C. Williams; aunts, Margaret Williams and Mary Williams; first cousins, Kevin Williams, George Williams, Myeshia Van Blount and Shantel (DeShaun) Jenkins; niece, Ebony Monet Moore; special friends, Edgar Toye, Earl Davis, Jr., Dyeronda Gay and Sabrina Patton; a host of other relatives and friends.
