Suspect Sought In Theft
Laughing Man Points Gun At Woman Pumping Gas
This is a surveillance photo of a man who allegedly pointed a gun at a woman pumping gas, and laughed.
Hillsborough County Sher- iff’s deputies are searching for a man who pointed a gun at a woman, laughed, and then drove away.
On Sunday at 9 p.m., an 18- year-old woman was pumping gas in her car at a Shell Station, 10052 Cross Creek Boulevard, when a man at an adjacent pump tried getting her atten- tion, according to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman ignored the man, who was driving a sedan. He then allegedly pulled his car up to her and pointed a gold handgun in her face, laughed at her, then drove away.
A surveillance camera cap- tured a photo of the suspect when he entered the store be- fore pumping his gas.
Woman Facing Child Abuse Charges
St. Peters- burg Police arrested Chyanne Davis, 22, on two counts of aggravated child abuse Friday.

tersburg Police officers and a Child Protection Investigator found two young children, a four-year-old boy and a two- year-old girl, living in de- plorable conditions. The officers said the apartment was full of rotting garbage, soiled diapers, roaches, and flies.
The two-year-old girl was found naked and covered in feces, in a play pen in the living room. The 4-year-old boy was locked in a room with walls covered with feces and no bed- ding. He was also naked and covered in feces urine and in- sects. Police described the odor as being overwhelming.
Davis was found sleeping in another room. Investigators believe she’s been leaving the kids alone while she worked at night at a fast food restaurant.
The children were hospital- ized for assessment and treat- ment.
Police said the initial call came from a neighbor who heard a child crying inside the apartment.
Man Found Dead In Car Killed By Gunfire
Of $20,000 Necklace
St. Petersburg Police are investigating the shooting death of a 40-year-old man who was found slumped over in his car Sunday morning.
Officers received a call about 9:30 a.m. and after re- sponding, they found the man dead in the car parked at 2567 11th Avenue, South. He was later identified as Sheri- dan Thompson.
Police said Thompson died of a gunshot wound, and that the address where he was found does not appear to be linked to the crime.
Police have released no further information on the shooting and have not identi- fied any suspects.

According to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies on July 14th at 8:19 a.m., a Black male entered the M/N Jewel- ers inside University Square Mall.
He reportedly inquired about a Cuban link necklace valued at $20,000. He then jumped over the counter, and snatched the necklace from the drawer.
The man then jumped back over the counter, and fled to an awaiting U-Haul truck. The truck fled north to- wards 22nd Street, and was later found abandoned in the era of 132nd Avenue and 22nd Street.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 5’7” tall, and weighing 180 pounds.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the suspect in this case.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies have ar- rested a pair of brothers sus- pected of robbing the same convenience store twice in three days.
In the latest incident, two armed men entered the 7-11 at 7711 Causeway Boulevard at 3:27 a. m. They demanded cash and cigarettes while

threatening the cashier, deputies said.
The suspects, Frederick William Burress, 24 and his brother, Timothy Allen Burress, 24, ran toward the south side of the Family Dol- lar Plaza to a path leading to 76th Street.

Ron Hakeem Richards and Joshua Graciani were teammates at Sunlake High School in Land O’ Lakes.
After graduation in 2013, Richards was driving a car when the two friends, both 19, were traveling through Lutz at 3 a.m. on November 16th.
Near the intersection of State Road 52 and Oakstead Boulevard, Richards lost control of the car, causing it to overturn several times, ac- cording to the Florida High- way Patrol.
Graciani, of Land O’ Lakes was ejected and died. Richards survived.
Nearly 3 years after the crash, Richards pleaded guilty to a charge of vehicular homicide after reaching a deal with prosecutors: three
years of prison followed by six years of probation.
Richards had planned to enter an open plea, and Cir- cuit Judge Pat Siracusa would have determined the sentence. However, the state offered Richards the deal that also stipulates that his driver’s license be suspended for three years and he per- form 10 years of community service.
Richards could have faced up to 15 years in prison with an open plea. He also could have qualified for youthful offender status had he been sentenced before turning 21. His maximum sentence would have been six years.
Richards’ formal sen- tencing is set for August 2nd.
