WILSON
MS. BETINA L. HELMS
Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Betina L. Helms of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021, will be held on Friday, September 10, 11 a. m., at Excit- ing Faith Alive, 5705 E. 32nd Ave., Tampa, Florida 33619, Pastor Antonio Hawkins with Pastor Dr. Greg Robinson of Revelation Community Baptist Church, Officiating/Eulogist. The interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Av- enue, Tampa, Florida.
Betina L. Helms was born on July 10, 1970, in Tampa, Florida, to parentage of Billy D. and Mary L. Helms, who taught her to hold her head high no matter the obstacles in her way. Betina graduated from Brandon High School, Class 1988. She later went on to receive Degrees in Education and Business Man- agement. She displayed a love for children as a Teacher and in her spare time she tutored stu- dents in the community. She spent time volunteering with W.I.SH. (Woman Inspired Sup- porting Her) Group Inc.
She was a member of Revela- tion Community Baptist Church, where Dr. Greg Robinson is the Pastor.
Betina L. Helms, a God-fear- ing woman, was always willing to give, even when she did not have to give. Ms. Betina L. Helms was an amazing woman.
She was preceded in death by: paternal and maternal grandparents, Grover and Lula Mae Helms, Fannie Mae Reynolds-Edwards, and Timo- thy Calhoun; and brother, Aaron Leroy Helms.
Betina loved her family. She leaves to cherish precious mem- ories with: parents, Billy D. and Mary L. Helms; brothers, De- wayne (Sheila), Billy, Derrick (Denika), Gary (Valerie); and sister, Sheena Helms; a host of, aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends, and members of the community.
The visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Thurs- day, September 09, 2021, at 5:30-7:30 p. m. Due to the cur- rent CDC restrictions, we are asking that you use the visita- tion as an opportunity to pay your final respect. MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE VIEWING AND SERVICE.

MS. MARGARET JOHNSON
MR. BOOKER JOYNER
Due to COVID restrictions a private service is being held for Mr. Booker T. Joyner who passed on August 27, 2021. Booker T. Joyner passed away peacefully after a lengthy ill- ness, unrelated to COVID-19.

Booker T. Joyner was born March 2, 1944, in Lakeland, Florida, as the third child of the late Henry and Nettie Jean Joyner. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from Middleton High School with the Class of 1962. Booker attended both Bethune-Cookman College and Florida A & M University, subsequently earning both a B. S. and an M.B.A. from Florida A & M University.
He became a lifetime mem- ber of Kappa Alpha Psi Frater- nity, Inc. Booker began his professional career as a mem- ber of the Blake High School staff before he was drafted into the military. As a member of the U. S. Army, Sgt. Joyner served in Viet Nam, and was awarded the Purple Heart and other medals in recognition of his sac-
rifice of service. Returning to his home town of Tampa he be- came Interim Director of the Hillsborough County Commu- nity Action Agency.
On May 27, 1973 Booker married Brenda L. Cooper, cre- ating a love story that would last more than forty-eight years. To that blessed union two children were born, Booker Joyner, II, and Brischelle Marie Joyner. Booker enjoyed sports: football and basketball, and spending quality time with family and friends. He also loved to share memories of his time as a Viet Nam soldier. Booker was known as a man of strong convictions who firmly believed in the im- portance of family and faith; he served as a role model to many of his nieces and nephews, and often collected and shared pam- phlets with others about how to get to know God personally.
He was preceded in death by: his daughter, Brischelle (Joyner) Jones; his parents, the late Henry and Nettie Jean Joyner; siblings, Henry, Jr., J.C., Sam, Phyllis, and Claretha.
Mr. Joyner leaves to cherish fond memories with a loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Brenda L. Joyner; son, Booker T. Joyner, II; son-in-law, Nelson (Brischelle) Jones; grandson, Neiman Jones; and step-grand- daughter, Nela Jones. Other close relatives include: daugh- ters, Daphne Matthews and In- grid Green; siblings, Hon. Arthenia Joyner, Sonja Bexley, Valda Browning, Donna Marie (Bobby) Cason, and Fern Baker; nieces, LaShon and Katrina Billups; nephews, Marion Billups, Jr., and Troy Bexley; sisters-in-law, Cherlyn Larnell/ deceased) Hemmingway and Dr. Charity (Ralph) Freeman, and a host of other sorrowing family members and friends.

ROBERT ‘MANO’ MILLER
Funeral service for Mr. Robert “Mano” Miller who passed away on August 25, 2021, will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. W. D. Sims, Officiating. Interment will fol- low in Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida.
Mr. Robert “ Mano” Miller was born in Colquitt, Georgia, on September 2, 1962, to the parentage of Eugene Miller, Sr., and Irene Miller. Robert was a lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida, after moving from Colquitt, Georgia at an early age.
Robert was preceded in death by: his mother and father, Irene and Eugene Miller, Sr.; 3 sisters, Ruthie Miller, Shirley Miller, and Evelyn Miller; aunts, Catherine Campbell, Joann Miller, and Mary Mesier; uncles, Willie Joe Perkins, Willie J. Brooks, and W. C. Brooks.
He leaves behind to cherish memories of him with: 6 chil- dren, Robert Miller, Jr., Raykeila Wright, Ajahie Miller, Ja’Quavis Miller, Kyle Kincade and Blake Miller; 1 sister, Bar- bara Wilson (Christopher); 3 brothers, Richard Miller and Eugene Miller, Jr., (Brenagale) and R. B. Miller, Sr. (Shantel); a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other rel- atives and friends.

Ms. Margaret Johnson was born January 21, 1942, to the late Jessie Reed and Daisy Hen- derson McBride. She attended Pine Park Elementary and Carter Parramore High School. Margaret was a devoted and ac- tive member of New Progress Missionary Baptist Church until her health declined.
Margaret was a very hard worker and dedicated employee of University Community Hospi- tal, where she retired after 34 years of service.
Margaret married Eugene Johnson and their love consum- mated four loving children, Reginald, Cheryl, Veronica, and Virgil.
Margaret was preceded in death by: her father, Jessie Reed; mother, Daisy Henderson McBride; sisters, Mary Ann Freeney (Louis Freeney); niece, Joyce Bailey and nephew, Jalil Dukes.
She leaves loving memories with: her children, Reginald (Debbie), Cheryl (Edward), Veronica, and Virgil (Suzette); grandchildren, Cherveronica (2), Vanekea (4), Antonio (2), Valencia (3), Shantana (3), Ve- undriss (4), Artaveus (2), Cade- dra (3), Valicia, Vaniece (1), Virgi, II (2), Brittany (4), Regi- nald, Jr., Erica (2), Edward, Jr. (1); 30 great grandchildren; 1 great, great grandchild; nieces and nephews, Sherrie, Fran, Pam, Terrell, Chad, Quanda, Jerome, Patricia and a host of family and friends.
