MRS. EARTHA LEE MCLEOD
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Eartha Lee McLeod, who passed away December 14, 2019, will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10 A. M., at Harmon Fu- neral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Helen Williams, officiating.
Mrs. Eartha Lee McLeod was born in Sumter, South Carolina on December 28, 1945. She was a loving, stay-at- home, single mom who loved her family and her children.
Eartha McLeod was pre- ceded in death by: her mother, Francis Scott and, her father, Joe Durant, Sr.; sisters: Shirley Doughty, Berniece Laws; broth- ers, Joe Durant, Jr., Tom Jr. Du- rant; nieces: Sharon Doughty, Althea Morohundiya, Freezator Laws; nephew, Alexander Doughty.
She leaves to cherish fond memories of her: daughters, Lynndorra Scott (husband, James Scott, Jr.), Pamela Carnegie Durant; sons, Willie Earl Martin and Antwaiin Crow- ley; grandchildren, Demerius Scott, Javonne Scott, Lamonte Scott, Ricky Johnson, Terry Johnson, (wife, Alicia Johnson), Michael Gay, (wife, Megan Gay), Johnny Carnegie; niece, Mary Huff; great-niece, Geneva Fran- coius, Carol Hardy; great nephews, Peter Morohundia, Terry Muhammad; a host of great-grands and relatives who reside out of town; special close cousin, Linda Funches; special dear friends: Helen Williams, Phyllis Exum, Richard Gladney, Maggie Brown.

MRS. CATHEREN GILBERT
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Catheren Gilbert will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1 p. m. at Northside Missionary Bap- tist Church, 5706 N. 40th Street, Tampa, Rev. Ricardo Robinson, Pastor, with Assistant Pastor, Rev. Herrington, officiating. In- terment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Mrs. Catheren Gilbert was born in Gadsden County, Quincy, Florida to Mr. Charlie Bivins and Annie Mae Bivins. She was edu- cated through Gadsden County Public Schools. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age.
On Friday, December 27, 2019, Catheren entered into her eternal rest.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Charlie and Annie Mae Bivins; her husband, Ezell Gilbert, Sr.; brothers, Char- lie Bivins, Jr., Tommie Lee Bivins, Alonzo Bivins and Reed Bivins; sisters, Emma Scott, Mary Bivins and Annie Harley; and grandson, Leon Gilbert.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories: children, Leroy Gilbert, Ezell Gilbert, Jr. (Fontella), Alonzo Gilbert and Kenny Ellison; sisters, Beatrice Williams, Helen Jackson (Lorenzo), Bessie Mae Bivins and Annie Jane Bivins, all of Quincy FL; family Matriarch, Margaret Hill; amily Patriarch, Walsh Jrice; grandchildren, Lez- eria Gilbert, Ebony Gilbert, Kei- dra Gilbert, E’Nesha Gilbert, Diantre Clark, Korell Gilbert, April Ellison and Kenny Ellison, Jr.; and a host of other sorrow- ing nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

        MR. LUTHER L. JOHNSON, JR.
A Memorial Celebration for Mr. Luther L. Johnson, Jr. of Seffner, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2019, will be held Saturday, Jan- uary 4th, 11 a. m. at Aikens Fu- neral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Lewis Moore, officiating.
Luther L. Johnson, Jr. was born November 14, 1927, in Seffner, Florida to the late Luther and Annie Johnson. He attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. He received Christ in his life at a young age and was bap- tized at the Church of Christ.
He worked for Hillsborough County Public Schools for 40 years. He enjoyed playing the gui- tar, piano, singing, playing cards, baseball and listening to country music. He was a wonderful fam- ily man and well-respected pillar of the community.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Estella B. Johnson; sons, Luther Leroy Johnson and Theodore Walter Johnson; sib- lings, Myrtle Reed, Beatrice I. Tucker and Otis L. Johnson; aunts and uncles, Evelyna John- son, Pauline Banks, Tommy Col- lier, Paul Collier and Lavander Collier; nieces and nephews, Fan- ning Loretta Crawford, Juanita Johnson and Clayton Everett; and son-in-law, Elbert Newton, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his chil- dren, Linda Newton, Bertha Wynn (Marquis), Francine Lav- ern Scott (Arthur) and Luther “LuLu” Johnson; grandchildren, Vanessa Spurlock (Twon), Don- ald “Red” Dowridge, LaKeisha “Gal” Newton, Queneil Johnson, Krystal Newton, Elbert Newton, III, Datntae Johnson, Marquisha “Pooh” Wynn (Robert), Destiny Scott and Arthur Scott, II; great- grandchildren, Bria Moore (Ran- den), Jayden Johnson, Ze’on, Ze’Kori, Ze’quoya Newton, Ejayvius and Enesia Newton, Donjanay Dowridge, Rokealen and Le’aira Bradley; great-great- grandchild, Ria Moore; sister, Annie Eliza Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; very special friends, Edna Mae Johnson and L. SISTER ARFINDER LORETT MARCUS- MITCHELL-JOHNSON
A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Arfinder Johnson, who passed away December 23, 2019, will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020, at 2 P. M. at Harmon Fu- neral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Michael Boyd, Zion Fellowship of Plant City, Florida, officiating.
Arfinder was born in Bartow, FL, on November 5, 1960.
Arfinder attended Gibbons Elementary School in Bartow, Florida, and later moved to Plant City, Florida, where she attended and completed her education in the Hillsborough County School System.
In later years, she dedicated 23 years of service working for the Dept. of Juvenile Justice.
Arfinder leaves to mourn her demise: her daughter, Quen- dolyn Mitchell and Tyrone John- son, Jr. and fiance’, Kia Myers; granddaughter Ka’Nya Johnson; mother, Queen Marcus; her brothers, Arthur Dilworth, Jr. and Anthony Marcus; sister, Anna Absolu and Angela Wilson; in addition, sisters through friendship, Renee Brown and Sandra Lipscomb of Plant City, FL. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, co-workers and treasured friends.
Visitation will be held this Friday evening from 6 to 8 P. M. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40TH St., Tampa, FL.
Family and friends will as- semble at 1:45 P. M. at Harmon Funeral Home on Saturday.

MR. BILLY GENE PERMER
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Billy Gene Permer, who passed away December 23, 2019, will be held Saturday, January 4, 2019, at 12 noon at Fulfilling God’s Purpose Church, 5015 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa, FL 33617, with Pastor Bryce Jones, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
Mr. Billy Gene Permer, de- parted this life at the tender age of 68 on December 23, 2019 at Melech Hospice House of Tem- ple Terrace.
Billy was born May 13, 1951 in Rural, Alabama. He enjoyed his early childhood there until moving to Tampa, FL where he attended Hillsborough County schools until graduation. He worked as a cement finisher until his illness.
Billy is preceded in death by: his parents, brother, Robert Permer; and son, Wayne Per- mer.
He leaves to cherish loving memories: his sons, Brashay Permer and Taurus (Alysicia) Permer; 2 grandchildren, Nyla Permer and Nayshon Permer; special friends Beryl, Mike and James; special cousins, Carolyn Blackmon and Angie Guadette; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held this Friday evening, January 3, 2019, at Harmon Funeral Home from 6-8 p. m. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday morn- ing at 11:45 a. m.
