In the Spotlight this week is Felinda, and as you can see, she is not at all shy in front of the camera. Felinda exudes energy when she’s working, and sometimes those around her find themselves infected with her tireless efforts. Fe- linda hopes all of her hard work will bring in big divi- dends and make her a household name. Congratulations to Felinda as this week’s Spotlight feature.
32nd Annual Interfaith Memorial Service

The 32nd Annual Hillsbor- ough County Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Interfaith Me- morial Service will be held on Monday, January 21, 2020. The 4 p. m. service will be held at Allen Temple A. M. E. Church, 2101 Lowe St., Rev. Dr. Glenn Dames, Pastor.
This is the 31st year that Dr. Roy Kaplan has helped to or- ganize the Hillsborough County Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Interfaith Service. He says the community can look forward to another outstanding program, which features various ethnic and religious traditions.
At the conclusion of the serv- ice everyone is invited to enjoy the free ethnic meal.
This year’s keynote speaker is Torey Alston, First Vice President, Florida NAACP. Rod Carter, WFLA-TV News Chan- nel 8 anchor/reporter, will be the emcee of the program.
Dr. Samuel Lamar Wright, Sr., will present the Patricia Spencer Award to At- torney Norman Harris. The Robert W. Saunders Award re- cipient is Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister.
Rev. Dr. Dames will present the award.
This year’s offering will be going to Calvary Community Clinic and Legacy Preparatory Academy.
