MS. ANNIE N. BUNCHE
A Celebration of Life for Ms. Annie N. Bunche, who passed away on March 1, 2018, will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 2 p. m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa, with Pastor Geowrena Solomon, officiat- ing. Interment will follow at Orange Hill Cemetery.
Annie N. Bunche was a na- tive of Tampa, Florida. She was born September 12, 1943 to Beatrice Norwood and Leroy Thompson (both of whom preceded her in death). She attended public schools in Hillsborough County and graduated from Middleton High School Class of 1961.
Annie accepted Christ at an early age (she was a preacher’s daughter), who raised her chil- dren in a Christian home. She was an entrepreneur, a do- mestic engineer, among work- ing other jobs (while raising her four daughters), “always” devoting her entire life to serv- ing others.

Bunche leaves to cherish her blessed and warm memories: 4 daughters, Dar- lene (Norman) Belgrave, Brenda Harper, Desiree (Al- bert) Moore, and Leslie (Regi- nald, Sr.) Pickens; 15 grandchildren, Elisa (Jer- oboam, Sr.) Pittman, Katisha Bunche, Cara (Keith, Sr. – re- cently preceded her in death) Booker, VonSohna (Vladimir, Sr.) Florestal, Tracey Bunche, Colin (Sharrell) Bunche, Martha Thompson, Lexie Vereen, Dasmine Godfrey, Chester Harper, Jr., Alix (Tammy) Belgrave, Kelvin Richardson, Jr., Michael Williams, Reginald Pickens, Jr., Izaiah Moore; 36 great- grandchildren; 1 sister, Wanda McKenzie-Jenkins (fiancé: Bobby Brown); 1 niece, Tiffany Carter; 1 nephew, Donzell Jenkins, Sr., a host of god-chil- dren; and a great host of fam- ily and friends, including, Debra Smith, Rolanda Cusseaux, Ola Robinson, and Brenda Luster.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 5-8 p. m. at Integrity Fu- neral Services. Family and friends are asked to assemble at Integrity on Thursday at 1:45 p. m.

MR. RICKY JEROME ‘MALIK’ SMITH, SR.
Funeral service for Mr. Ricky “Malik” Jerome Smith, Sr. age 55 of Valrico, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, Feb- ruary 22, 2018, will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 10 a. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, FL with Rev. Milton Peoples, officiating. Military honors will be con- ducted by the United States Army. Ricky will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
Ricky was preceded in death by: his wife, Linda Smith; his grandmother, Elizabeth Dukes; and brother, Thelonious A. Smith.
Ricky leaves to cherish lov- ing memories with: 1 son, Ricky J. Smith, II; 1 daughter, Jennifer Smith; 12 grandchildren; his mother, Freddie M. Dukes; fa- ther, Ben Smith; 3 sisters, Veronica Smith, Cherrie Cal- loway and Benita Smith; 1 brother, Shannon Smith; ex- tended children, Melanie Curtis, Jessica Peeples, Pierre Larkin, Shanta Larkin, Paris Larkin, Dainte White and Gabrielle White; a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Ricky J. Smith, Sr. was born in Tampa, Florida on Sep- tember 12, 1962, to the parent- age of Freddie Dukes and Ben Smith. He was raised by his grandmother, Elizabeth Dukes. He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Hillsborough High School, Class of 1980.
He went on to pursue a ca- reer in the United States Army in 1980, receiving an honorable discharge. Ricky furthered his education at the University of South Florida, then later went on to the University of Tampa, where he earned his degree in Criminology. Ricky loved art and enjoyed exploring his pas- sions.
He was also employed with Costco Wholesale in Brandon, Florida. Ricky loved his family and friends. He will greatly be missed.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Wil- son Funeral home from 5 p. m. to 8 p. m. Friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at approximately 9:45 a. m. on Fri- day for the service.

Years In Prison
A 39-year-old Riverview woman was sentenced to prison last week in connection with a tax fraud case. She pleaded guilty on November 15, 2017.
District Judge Eliza- beth Kovachevich sen- tenced Ms. Samika Garcia to four years and three months in federal prison. She pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud and one count ag- gravated identity theft.
Ms. Garcia was indicted July 6, 2017, and charged with 5 counts each of wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.
As part of her sentence, Ms. Garcia was also ordered to pay restitution to the Inter- nal Revenue Service.
According to court docu- ments, in February and March 2014, Ms. Garcia electroni- cally filed false and unautho- rized federal income tax returns in the names of other people. Using a laptop com- puter, Ms. Garcia received more than $192,000 in fraud- ulent income tax refunds she directed to be deposited on debit cards.
She used the personal in- formation of others to file the claims and kept detailed ledgers in her home, officials said.
