   Man Killed In Accident Going To Work

Last Saturday morning, a 47-year-old Temple Terrace man died after being struck by a vehicle. His family said he was going to catch the bus to work when the accident occurred.
According to the Temple Terrace Police Department, officers responded to the in- tersection of E. Fowler Av- enue and Hoyt Avenue, shortly after 6:30 a.m. They discovered that Mr. Charles Edward Kinsey had been struck by a vehicle. Mr. Kinsey died at the scene.
A Tampa native, Mr. Kinsey was the son of the late Norris Kinsey, Sr., and the late Mrs. Leeella Johnson Kinsey. He at- tended the local schools of Hillsborough County, includ- ing Bloomingdale High School.
Mr. Kinsey then en- tered the Job Corps., where he remained for a year learn- ing brick masonry. When he returned home, he worked in the construction business for several years.
At the time of his death, Mr. Kinsey worked for a Temporary Job Placement service and was assigned to
the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel.
His stepdaughter, Mrs. Latraille Green said, “My stepdad was a fun-filled, lov- ing man of God and he dedi- cated his life to God before parting this life.
“He had a beautiful smile that would light up a room full of people. He will truly be missed,” she said.
She further stated that the news was especially diffi- cult for her because he passed away on her birthday. “Every year since he and my mother have been together, he, my mother, my husband, and I would go out to dinner. My birthday now symbolizes the day he took his last breath.”
She further said Mr. Kinsey loved singing gospel music, spending time with family, and playing practical jokes.
Mr. Kinsey was a mem- ber of the 29th Street Church Of Christ. He was the hus- band of Mrs. Kimberly Kinsey. He is survived by 2 stepchildren, 5 grandchil- dren, 2 great grandchildren 5 sisters, 1 brother, and other family members and friends.
