     Traffic Accident Claims Life Of Two Men
The Florida Highway Pa- trol is investigating an acci- dent that claimed the lives of two people. It took place early Saturday morning.
According to the investiga- tors, the driver of the first vehicle was driving north- bound on U. S. 301 shortly before 4 a.m., north Saint Francis Lane.
For unknown reasons, the pick-up truck, driven by a 29-year-old Dade City resi- dent, crossed the centerline and entered the path of the
second vehicle. As a result, the two vehicles collided nearly head-on. After the collision, the pick-up truck rotated and came to a final rest in the northbound lane.
The second vehicle, an SUV, driven by a 61-year-old Zephyrhills man, rotated, overturned, and rolled off a bridge and into a ditch. Both drivers suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The investigation is con- tinuing.

The victim was a 27-year- old resident of Brandon. He was struck by an SUV driven by a 78-year-old w0man who lives in Wimauma.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident
took place shortly before 6:30 a.m., Sunday. The driver was traveling east- bound on Causeway Blvd., in the outside lane near 82nd Street. The victim was seated or laying down in the travel lane. The truck col- lided with the victim, caus- ing fatal injuries. The investigation is continuing.
