2020 Primary Election -- Deadline to register or change party: July 20; Early Voting: August3–16, 10a.m.–6p. m. Election Day: August 18 7 a. m.–7p.m.
Mailing out of Vote By Mail ballots will begin on July 9, and voted ballots must be in to Supervisor of Elections of- fice by 7 p. m. on August 18.
Important Note: Florida is a “closed primary” state. That means only voters regis- tered with a political party may vote in that party’s Pri- mary Election. You can change
your party affiliation by sub- mitting an updated Voter Reg- istration Application at any time, but the change must be made 29 days before a Primary Election in order to be valid for that election.

                Cowboy Life: Florida's Black Cowboys Past & Present

The Afro-American Historical & Genealogical Society, present an open house featuring the Florida Agricultural Museum's tour- ing exhibit Florida's Black Cowboy's, Past & Present. This open house will highlight the story of Africans and African Americans in the cattle industry of Florida, from the herding traditions of their African roots, to the complex world of ranching today. A local group called the "Cowbros" will also join in this presentation. The Florida Agricultural Museum touring exhibit will be on display at the Robert W. Saunders, Sr. Public Library throughout the month of March.
