TAMPA-HILLSBOROUGH EXPRESSWAY AUTHORITY INVITATION TO BID (ITB) O-01919 CONSTRUCTION SERVICES INSTALLATION OF FIBER OPTIC CABLE TO DYNAMIC MESSAGE SIGNS
The Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA) is seeking a qualified firm to provide all the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, supplies, insurance, incidentals, mobilization, demobilization and maintenance of traffic necessary to furnish and install 12-strand, Single Mode, Fiber Optic Cable (12 SM FOC), to dynamic message signs (DMS) cabinets from nearby communications cabinets. The work sites are located within Hillsborough County, along or near the THEA Lee Roy Selmon Expressway, and including sites on adjacent surface streets.
All splicing and integration will be by others.

Interested firms shall submit a completed response to the Authority, 1104 East Twiggs Street, Suite 300, 3rd Floor, Tampa, Florida 33602. Responses are due by December 05, 2019, by 2:00 p.m. at which time all proposals received will be publicly opened. Firms failing to submit the required documents as outlined within the procurement Instructions and Submittal Documents may be deemed non-responsive. THEA strongly encourages the solicitation and utilization of SBE firms and requires nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, sex and national origin in its contracting practices.
