FAMU Gospel Choir In Concert Saturday At New Mt. Zion
New Mt. Zion is hosting its 5th Annual Gospel Explosion, featuring The Florida A&M Uni- versity Gospel Choir and The Tampa Bay Youth & Young Adult Mass Choir.
The concert is Saturday, Oc- tober 12, 2019, and begins promptly at 6 p. m. The concert is part of the church’s 117th Church Anniversary Celebra- tion, which culminates on Sun- day, October 20, 2019. T h e church’s Young Adult Ministry is spearheading the anniversary events.

The Tampa Bay Youth & Young Adult Mass Choir has had an amazing year with the re- lease of their first EP release de- buting at number 23 on the ITunes Gospel Charts and num-
ber 33 on the Google Play Gospel Charts.
Minister L. Johnson, the event host, states, “this will be a power packed night, worship- ping God as well as New Mt. Zion’s legacy of Gospel singing.”
The event is free and open to the public.
