Police Investigate Early Morning Double Murder

 The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left tw0 people dead and two injured. The in- cident took place shortly after 1 a.m., Thursday at 5410 N. Falkenburg Road.
According to police, deputies responded to the lo- cation in reference to several people being shot. When they arrived, they discovered an adult man dead in the com- mon area of the mobile home park. They located another man dead inside one of the mobile homes.
They also found an adult woman and another adult man injured. The two people were
transported to a local hospital with gunshot wounds. They were both listed in critical, but stable condition.
The woman is the only known resident of the home, however, it is believed that several people were at the lo- cation when the shooting took place.
The investigation into the double murder is continuing.

  A 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged with two counts of sexual bat- tery. The cases are not related.
According to the Tampa Police Department, the most recent incident took place on March 14, 2019. The victim said she met Roytaner Williams, who identified himself as “John,” in a park. They talked and he provided her with a telephone number. They went for a drive in his vehicle and he provided her with a drink. She told police she felt disoriented after drinking it. She reportedly pleaded with him to take her home and he refused. She told detectives she passed out and when she awoke her pants

had been pulled down. While she was conscious “John” raped her.
Williams was identified as the suspect and taken into custody.
He was also charged with a rape that took place March 11, 2016. In that case, the man approached the victim and of- fered her a ride home. She re- fused and he forced her into his car. He then attacked her in the vehicle.
Both victims told police they were not able to get out of the car because they could not open the passenger door. The second victim also identi- fied Williams as her at- tacker.
