Mac is a man of his word, so when he makes a promise to someone, they can probably take it to the bank.
As the New Year gets under way, Maxie can’t help but hope for a fresh start. First came Jason’s death, then the tragic passing of Brando and Sasha’s newborn son, Liam. Curtis and Portia step things up where their relationship is concerned. Shawn has a surprise for Alexis.
Despite the number of people cheering her on, Alexis can’t help but doubt her abilities. Sus- picious eyes are looking Brook Lynn’s way. Victor takes a meet- ing with Valentin.Gladys is there to try and reassure Brando that everything will work out for the best.
Ridge isn’t thrilled with the fact that Deacon wound up hanging around on New Year’s Eve, and he’s got questions for his wife. The big question for Brooke is whether or not to tell Ridge the truth about what happened. Nothing makes Sheila happier than having a full to-do list. Ridge wants Deacon gone, but Brooke has been fully in his cor- ner.
Taylor isn’t exactly Brooke’s biggest fan. But even she’s taken aback upon seeing just how much Sheila hates the blonde. Brooke decides that she can no longer keep the secret she’s been carrying around.
The ringing in of a new year al- ways causes people to reflect on the one just passed. Things haven’t been quite right with Chance since he returned both
from the dead and to Genoa City. Abby’s done her best to pretend that everything’s hunky-dory, but she’ll at last find out what’s really going on when her hubby decides it’s time to come clean.
Chelsea’s all about setting a trap for the redhead. Adam is on the receiving end of a warning from Chloe. Abby has a sit-down with Devon, who is completely caught off guard by what she has to say. Having felt a bit lost of late himself, Nick encourages son Noah to explore a new op- portunity that has presented it- self. When Chance finds himself in need of assistance, he hopes that Rey will be able to provide it.
The Bold & Beautiful:
Days of Our Lives: Things could get awkward when Allie, Tripp, Chanel and Johnny de- cide to welcome 2022 together. Kate will be able to kick off the New Year with a clean con- science after she confesses to Roman. Sami thinks that maybe she and Lucas actually have a shot at a relationship. Old ac- quaintances won’t be forgot as John, Marlena, Steve and Kayla spend New Year’s Eve together.
Ashland and Victoria haven’t been married all that long, but there may already be cracks ap- pearing in their foundation.
The Young & Restless:
Xander and Jack set out to mend their friendship. EJ hopes to make amends with Nicole, but that may be harder to do than he imagines given that she’s not in a particularly forgiv- ing mood! Xander hopes that Rex will be able to put him on the right path.
The search for Sarah is under way as Xander teams up with Abigail in an attempt to find his former girlfriend. Paulina is making some pretty big plans for Chanel and her new hubby. Johnny’s got some great news. When Johnny shares some great news with John and Marlena.
