Class Of 2021
Students Committed To Education In Spite Of Obstacles

This year, hundreds of stu- dents will graduate from high school and college. Having completed this phase of their education some will go to col- lege some will enter the mili-
tary, and others will enter the workforce.
These young adults have reached this milestone in their lives facing obstacles, seen and unseen. They have also sur- vived the Coronavirus Pan- demic, which changed the lives of everyone.
Now, as they stand on the threshold of their futures, they are prepared to take on the “new normal,” which may en- compass wearing masks, social distancing, and other changes to remain safe while interacting with the general public.
This was not an easy time for
these young people as they put their pencils and pads away to adapt to a computer screen. In- stead of having a conference with a teacher, they had zoom meetings or chats on social media.
While the changes were many and took some getting
used to, the one thing that re- mained steadfast was their de- termination. So, they rolled up their sleeves, grabbed their re- spective electronic devices, and earned their places as members of the 2021 graduating class.
The Sentinel salutes the class of 2021 for a job well done!
