CDC Of Tampa, Inc. Celebrating 29 Years With Virtual Affair

The Corporation to De- velop Communities of Tampa, Inc. will be hosting its 29th annual event. This year’s event will be a virtual affair on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 10 a. m., recog- nizing Community Champi- ons. The Master of
Ceremonies will be Dave Jordan, Director of Public Affairs, Omni Public. The in- vocation for the event will be by Pastor Anthony C. White, Pastor of Bible- Based Fellowship Church.

nite commercial corridors. Ernest Coney, CEO of CDC of Tampa, Inc. said there will be a panel discussion with Tony T. Brown, Director of Community Development Tampa Bay Economic Devel- opment Council, and Dr. Byron C. Clayton, Chief of Community & Talent Devel- opment, CareerSource Tampa Bay.
Entertainment for the cel- ebration will be provided by Dr. Alex Harris and Kyle Schroeder.
Since its founding in 1992, the CDC of Tampa, Inc., has been providing services and programs for the Tampa Bay area – to include adults and children. With its offices sit- uated in East Tampa, the CDC has built many single- family homes, rental units and commercial spaces for use.
Mr. Coney stated: “CDC of Tampa has been helping to stabilize and transform neighborhoods for 29 years. We look forward to dis- cussing partnership and strategies that will continue to make our urban neighbor- hoods thrive. We could not do this great work without our residents and sponsors. We hope that everyone will join us to celebrate our com- munity wins and champi- ons.”
