TAMPA HILLSBOROUGH EXPRESSWAY AUTHORITY REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL – No. O-00820 TWIGGS STREET IMPROVEMENTS DESIGN-BUILD PROJECT
The Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (Authority) is soliciting contracting and consulting services for the Design- Build project identified below. The scope of work for this Low Bid Design-Build contract includes all investigations, design, permitting, coordination, construction activities, and the necessary final approved construction documents to complete this project.
Budget Amount: $1,820,000
Estimated Contract Time: 365 Calendar Days Maximum Amount: $25,000 (only for short listed firms not selected
for the contract)
Project Description: Twiggs Street Improvements - The
Tampa-Hillsborough Expressway Authority (Authority) has issued this Request for Letters of Interest (LOI) to solicit competitive bids and proposals from Proposers for the Twiggs Street Improvements, from west of Nebraska Avenue to east of Meridian Avenue in Hillsborough County.
The complete Instructions and Submittal Documents are available through the DemandStar System (www.demandstar.com) or through an email request to Man.Le@tampa-xway.com. FIRMS THAT OBTAIN THE INSTRUCTIONS AND SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS FROM SOURCES OTHER THAN DEMANDSTAR OR THEA ARE CAUTIONED THAT THE DOCUMENTS MAY BE INCOMPLETE.
Interested firms shall submit a completed response to the Authority at Man.Le@tampa-xway.com Phase 1 Letter of Interest responses are due by June 26, 2020, by 2:00 p.m. EST. Firms failing to submit the required documents as outlined within the Instructions and Submittal Documents may be deemed non-responsive to the RFP. THEA strongly encourages the solicitation and utilization of SBE firms and requires nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, sex and national origin in its contracting practices.
