“S BY SUSAN ANDREWS, M.D.
ay Their Names"...... The spirits of those unlawfully murdered at the hands of police are crying out from their graves.
Emmett Till......His spirit and those like him unlawfully murdered at the hands of white mobs who lynched them, are crying out from their graves.
Rosewood, FL and Black Wall Street in Tulsa Okla- homa.... and cities and towns like them, unlawfully burned down at the hands of the KKK are crying out from the ashes.
Our Ancestors.....unlawfully transported here through the Middle Passage to be enslaved....to provide free ex- pertise.... and free labor for white men.....who took land in North America that did not belong to England, but to the Native Americans.....our ancestors’ spirits are crying out in our collective DNA...."Enough is Enough."
It is time for North American whites to repay their debt to North American Black people.
American whites have managed to repay everybody that they are indebted too, (i.e., Native Americans via casi- nos, and even Vietnamese from Vietnam via special finan- cial set asides).
Yet somehow they cannot figure out how to give Black Americans our 40 acres and a mule. Really???
Or place fines on banks who redline Black homeowners or small businesses from getting decent bank loans. Re- ally????
Or how to integrate schools fairly so that Black children can have good public education. Really???
Or to figure out how the healthcare system is a death trap for Black men and women who have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, HIV and now COViD 19. Really???
Or as we have experienced in real time, how to take a Black man into custody alive, like they do white murder- ers like the Parkland School shooter....or wait, didn't the police in South Carolina take Dylan Roof to Burger King before he was taken to jail? Really???
And let’s not forget the prison industrial complex that these police, sheriffs, bail bondsmen, district attorneys and judges make their living off of daily at the expense of Black Americans.

     The Economics Of Why BLACK LIVES MATTER
 Yes, enough is enough, and it is time for white America to atone for their trespasses against us; make a peace offering; and begin to satisfy 460 years of debt to Black Amer- icans.
In my opinion, White America's economic power and oppression is in our face every- day. Our collective hurt, anger and pain is in the DNA of our ancestral knowledge that white America have built their suburbs, corner stores, government offices, corporate buildings, banks and Wal-Marts on Black America's 40 acres.
Today, they cannot give us the land that is due to us, but that doesn't change our knowledge that the 40 acres is still an unpaid debt and has an accrued value that they benefit from, even though it is our 40 acres.
So here are some of my economic solutions for what the government, banks, corpo- rations and white business people who have their "stuff" on our property CAN DO to begin the repayment of the debt owed to us for not our ancestors for their expertise and hard labor....and for not allocating our 40 acres and a mule:
1. Black Americans want the deed to our houses we are currently living in. (mortgage loans are paid in full; we own it outright, and right now);
2. Black Americans over 18, who are living in apartments, condos, townhouses that are owned by non-Black Americans, now own that apartment, condo or townhouse. Es- pecially if it is public housing that the government owns;
3. Black businesses who have small business loans, should have those loans stamped paid in full;
4. Black Americans demand that Black student loan debt be paid off;
5. Black Americans demand that Black students who desire to go to public or private college and graduate school get their education paid in full, beginning this fall;
6. We demand that Black Americans do not pay Federal income taxes; State income taxes; County property taxes for the next 12 generations ( i.e., one generation = 40 years; 40 x12 generations =480 yrs).
We have the power of the vote, and monies we spend in this country. Let’s just stop and mobilize ourselves to save ourselves and the generations by making reachable de- mands, and taking charge of our own fate by voting, and not spending dollars where there is no reciprocity.
It’s time to vote out these white folks who are not working on our behalf.
Be aware that politics and white supremacy have manipulated and existed in the BLACK LIVES of Americans since we were transported here 400 years ago.
Find out the voting district you are in. Find out who is representing you. Google them on your phone. Vote them out if they are not supporting us... Black Lives Matter and our collective Black economic agenda matters.
In conclusion, white Americans have a 400-year head start on economic prosperity in this country off the backs of our ancestors. Our slave ancestors were the masterminds with all the expertise and knowledge that made America great.
Their free labor was the backbone of how white Americans accumulated and trans- ferred wealth to themselves and their families.
We know they can never satisfy the emotional debt, but it is high time they start trying to satisfy the economic debt....and not with tasks forces, but with mortgage deeds, edu- cational dollars and cents and elimination of the tax system on Black American pay- checks.
Black Americans HAVE overpaid into this system and ‘Enough is Enough.’
