MRS. ELLA MAE GODFREY
Mrs. Ella Mae Godfrey of Tampa, Florida, departed this life on Friday, July 24, 2020, at St. Joseph Hospital.
Her homegoing service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 2 p. m. at Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, Pastor T. D. Leonard, with Reverend Zackery Robertson, of Evening Star Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. In- terment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Please follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
She was a native of Camilla, Georgia, but resided in Tampa, Florida, for the past 46 years. She was a head cook/dietitian at Hillhaven Rehabilitation Center for approximately 33 years until her health started deteriorating. She was also a very devoted member of Evening Star Tabernacle Mis- sionary Baptist Church Pas- tor’s Aide Board Committee.

MR. RONALD (‘LIL HAT’) KEITH ANDERSON
Mr. Ronald Keith Ander- son, “Lil Hat,” of Tampa, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 1 at 2 p. m. at New Hope at The Cornerstone, 315 N. Collins Street, Plant City, FL 33563, with Pastor Swiney, officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery. Please follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
Mr. Ronald Anderson was a native of Chicago, IL, and a resident of Tampa for 65 years. He was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1970 and was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Mr. Anderson retired from Van Airlines as a Truck Driver.
He leaves to cherish his memory: devoted soulmate and loving companion of 25 years, Lavern Hooper; daugh- ters, Barbara Brown (Gino), Tameka Anderson (Howard) and step-daughter, Ebony Davis; sons, Carlos Anderson (Teia), and Reshard Anderson (Valorie); grandchildren, Kevrick Brown, Darealle Crawford, Carlos Anderson, Jr., Kiosha Crawford, Michel’lae Williams, Dereck Mann, Jr., Ceonna Anderson, Ta’Mia Rodgers, Curtis Rodgers, Jr., Ja’Yani Bivens, Jeffrey Bush, and Edgar Robinson; great-grandchil- dren, Kae’Lynn Mann, Jayden Crawford, and Kevrick Brown, Jr.; brother, Gregory Ander- son; nieces, Felicia Bryant, Vauandria Anderson, and Vaugh Anderson; great nieces, Abrieana Hill, Danielle Hill, and Ameyah Bryant; cousins, Elaine Jones, Jewel Davis, John Eddie Reid, Linda Flent, Renee Leon, Donce Leon, Ruby Rhymes, Brenda Red- mond, Karen Scott and Najah Hatim-Johnson (Bernard); mothers of his children, Jan- ice Anderson, Joyce Williams and Rudene Gadsden; devoted friends, Michael Nelson, Mar- vin Person, Earl Lewis and the entire Wilson family; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ms. Evelyn Allen of Tampa, Florida, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020.

Ms. Evelyn Allen was a res- ident of Tampa, Florida for 67 years and graduated from Hillsborough County Public Schools, Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1965, and received her CNA certification from Hillsborough Commu- nity College.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a daughter, Katrina Allen Barr (Willie Barr, Jr.); 2 grandsons, Willie Barr, III, aka “Jamie” (Lan Barr) and Brandon Barr (Brandie Barr); 3 great- grandchildren, McKenna Barr, Malani Barr, and Cameron Barr; a great- niece, Jada Russell; a sister, Mary McClain and husband; 4 brothers, Robert Allen (Geor- gia), Clarance Allen (Francis), Michael Allen (Charlotte), and Dana Allen (Trudy); special cousins, Barbara Bell and fam- ily and Cheryl Allen and fam- ily; in addition, the Williams, Moore, Jewel and Harris fam- ilies; and a host of other beloved relatives, friends and co-workers.

MR. DESMENE DEVON GRAHAM (‘BEAR’)
Mr. Desmene Devon Gra- ham, affectionately known as “Bear,” of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020. A Graveside service will be con- ducted Saturday, August 1 at 11 a. m. at Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, with Minister Da’shon B. Lemar, of- ficiating. Interment will fol- low. Mr. Desmene Devon Gra- ham, “Bear,” was a native of Tifton, Georgia and a resident of Tampa for most of his life. He was the second child of three children born to Sharron Levette Graham and Gregory Nixon. Desmene was educated in the public schools of Hills- borough County and was em- ployed with Waste Management for over 10 years. Desmene was a family man and he devoted his life to his family and friends with his powerful words and comedian spirit.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Sharron Lev- ette Graham; grandmother, Martha Stewart Nixon; grand- fathers, Jackson W. Nixon, Jr. and Jerry Lee Graham; aunt, Cornelia Johnson; uncle, Willie Johnson; and cousin, Brenda F. Henry.
He leaves to cherish his memory and to carry on his legacy: his daughter, Demetria Wilson; his father, Gregory Nixon; grandmother, Eloise Graham; brother, Marquius Graham; sister, Iesha Rogers; aunts, Debra Watson, and LaShonda Graham; nephews, Jeremiah Haywood and An- thony Stewart, III; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
