 Corvette Car Show In Ybor City

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade Foundation To Host 4th Annual Black-Tie Dinner And Gala

The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade Foundation will host the 4th Annual Black Tie Dinner & Gala Fundraiser on Thursday, January 9, 2019. The event will be held at TPepin’s Hos- pitality Centre, 4121 N. 50th St., Tampa 33610. Doors open at 6 p. m.
Proceeds from this event will benefit local scholar- ships, cultural and commu- nity service oriented activities for underserved communities throughout the Tampa Bay Area.
According to organizers, this year’s gala is expected to be more exciting, more meaningful, and more beau- tiful than ever before. The theme is based on Dr. King’s timeless quote: “Until Justice Rolls Down Like Water, And Righteous- ness Like a Mighty Stream.” There will be live musical performances. Tampa native and ESPN Sports Analyst, Tiffany Greene will mod- erate the evening.
This year’s honorees in- clude: Pastor Jomo Cousins of Love First Chris- tian Center; Ms. Ann Jenk- ins, Grand Worthy Matron of Eastern Star; Mrs. Joli Cooper Nelson, Executive Director of Greenlight Fund Atlanta; and State Attor- ney Andrew Warren.
