   AIKENS
MR. ROBERT YOUNG, JR.
A Homegoing Celebration of Life service for Mr. Robert Young, Jr., Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sunday, July 04, 2021, was held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 11 a. m. at Aikens Fu- neral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Dr. Kendrix J. Gardner, officiated. The interment was held at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Robert Young, Jr. was born in Belle Glades, Florida on De- cember 3rd, 1946, to the (late) Effie L. Byrd and the (late) Rev. Robert Young, Sr. He moved to Rochester, NY in 1966 where he married LaRue Young in 1967.
He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories: son, Robert Young, Jr., and daugh- ter, Stephanie Young; 6 grand- children, Trionna Moore, Samaria Young, Janae Higgin, DeSean Higgin, Kennedy Young, Peyton Young; 2 great-grand- daughters, Emerra Moore and Oaklyn Young; sisters, Gloria Ash, Theresa Hammer (de- ceased) Vanessa Young, Loretta Young (deceased) Norzetta Young and Gail Wilson; broth- ers, Willie Patmon, Jr. and wife, Sharon Patmon, George Byrd, Timothy Byrd, Bobby Young (de- ceased), Mark Young and wife, Candy.
He also leaves behind to cherish his precious memories: a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends as well as brothers and sisters in the NA community.
The visitation was held on Monday, July 19th 4 to 7 p. m. The family and friends were asked to meet at the chapel on Tuesday for the service. The CDC guide- lines were followed.

MR. JIMMY LEE DAY, JR.
A Graveside Celebration for Mr. Jimmy Lee Day, Jr., of Tampa, Florida, will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021, 1:30 p. m. at Bay Pines National Ceme- tery, 10000 Bay Pines Boule- vard, St. Petersburg, Florida 33708.
Jimmy Day was born Octo- ber 7, 1960, in Tampa, Florida. He accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at an early age. He attended public schools in Hillsborough County, where he graduated from Robinson High School. After completing high school, he entered into the United States Army.
He was preceded in transi- tion by: his parents, Jimmie Lee and Mae Quincy Day; brother, David Emmanuel Day; aunts, Sallie “Judy” Hicks, Constance Polite, Retha Mae Ross and Sallie M. Pelt; and uncle, Norris M. Head.
He leaves behind: his sons, Maurice J. L. Day, Reanall (LaTasia) Day, and Nijehl (Alexis) Day; brothers, Timo- thy Jerome Day and Earl Eu- gene (Edrika) Day; uncles, William H. Head (Mae Helen) of Jacksonville, FL, General Head, of Century, FL, and Ben- jamin F. Head (Sharon), of Live Oak, FL; grandchildren, Kh’liyah Day, Reanall Day, Jr., Ky’Rie Day, Kaiden Day, Jade- veon Day, and Isaiah Day.
He leaves behind a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Funeral service for Mr. Her- schel M. Blackmon will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, 11 a. m., at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St. The repass will follow.

SISTER MARTHA C. COCHRAN
A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Sister Martha C. Cochran on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 12 noon at Resurrection Temple House of Prayer, 4603 N. 34th Street, Tampa Florida 33610, Apostle Otha B. Lockett, Overseer with Elder Frank Williams, Pastor of Paradise Missionary Baptist Church, Tampa, officiating.
Martha C. Cochran was born November 27, 1940, in Abbeville, Alabama, to the late Mrs. Arise Coxson and Mr. Hatcher Coxson.
She was also preceded in death by: her daughter, Bernadette Cochran, and son, Levi James Cochran; mother, Arise and father, Hatcher Cox- son, stepfather, Deal Kelly; grandmother, Ossie, and twin sister, Mary Teages.
Matha was employed as a packer at Hunt Wild, and also the first woman foreman for Tampa Housing Authority in 1976. She was a faithful member of Paradise M. B. Church under the leadership of Elder Frank Williams as Pastor. Her love and
her sweet presence will be sadly missed. God saw she was getting weary as she entered her eternal rest on July 8, 2021.
She leaves cherished mem- ory with: a very devoted daugh- ter, Martha J. Lockett and son-in-law, Apostle Otha B. Lockett, Tampa; and 3 sons, Henry Lee Cochran of Midland City, Alabama, Willie Earl Cochran of Abbeville, Alabama, and Sammie Jr. Glump of Col- orado; 3 sisters, Doris Wilson of Baltimore, MD, Ida Bell Billins, Anne K. and husband, Fredette of Abbeville, AL; 3 brothers, Henry L. Coxson and Liz of Dothan, AL, Paul Coxson and Kate of Abbeville, Willie M. Col- son and Jennifer of Panama City, FL; 15 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren; and a host of oth- ers whose lives she touched with her love and kindness.
I have fought a good fight. I have run a good race, but Lord I know in my heart you would allow death to overtake me someday, but I learned not to worry, and I learned no to fret for the God that I served had never failed me yet. But now Lord I am ready to spend eter- nity with you. I know in my heart I’ve taught them so true and now if they need help, they know what to do, for they knew one day I’d leave with you, now I can rest assured that what I read in your word is true for to be ab- sent from the body is to be pres- ent with you.
Visitation will be held on Fri- day, July 23, 2021, at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Av- enue, Tampa, Florida 33605. TEMPERATURE CHECK will be administered on Saturday and Mask are Required for atten- dance at both services.
