Woman Could Face Death Penalty In Fatal Beating Of Child With Tire Iron
Man Wins $5 Million From Scratch-Off Ticket; His Second Lotto Jackpot

reported that Te’Lea Jeffer- son, 23, was arrested Octo- ber 20, 2020, on charges of murder and aggravated bat- tery in the death of a 3-year- old boy.
Prosecutors filed a motion for the death penalty on a Florida woman charged with the fatal beating of a 3-year- old boy.
Assistant State Attorney John Fuchs filed notice Monday of the state’s intent to pursue the death penalty against Te’Lea Jefferson, according to the Tallahassee Democrat.
Jefferson originally told authorities on Oct. 20 the boy fell off a sink and hit his head

A 56-year-old Florida man has won a lotto jackpot for the second time in three years.
Munib Garvanovic of Jacksonville claimed a $5 million top prize from a scratch-off game at the Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
Three years ago, he won $1 million from a different
scratch-off ticket. Garvanovic says he pur-
chases his tickets from the same convenience store every time.
"Every November I play my favorite Scratch-Off games because I feel it brings me extra luck," he said. "This is the second time in three years that this store has made me a winner!"
Garvanovic chose to re- ceive his latest winnings as a one-time, lump-sum pay- ment of $4,450,000.
