PORT TAMPA BAY REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
DESIGN OF BERTH 218 MARINE INFRASTRUCTURE (RFQ NO. Q-002-22)
Port Tampa Bay (PTB) is advertising a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from Respondents (Consultants) interested in providing proposals from qualified Respondents interested in providing general engineering services for the Design of Berth 218 Marine Infrastructure and supporting infrastructure as defined by the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA).
The RFQ is available on DemandStar (www.demandstar.com) on Friday, March 18, 2022. All responses to the RFQ shall include a letter indicating the Firm’s interest and completion of the RFQ Documents, including a Respondent’s Questionnaire. Firms failing to submit the required RFQ Documents may be deemed non-responsive to the RFQ.
PTB will hold a NON-MANDATORY PRE-QUALIFICATION TELECONFERENCE on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. See Attachment 4 of the RFQ Document for teleconference details.
Submittal documents are due on Thursday, April 14, 2022 by 1:00 p.m. Interested firms should obtain a copy of the procurement instructions and submittal documents and submit a completed response to Port Tampa Bay, 1101 Channelside Drive, 4th Floor, Tampa, Florida 33602.
PTB encourages the use of registered Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms to the greatest extent possible on projects and has a goal of nine percent (9%) SBE participation. PTB will consider SBE participation when evaluating the responses.
Pursuant to CCNA, this RFQ also includes a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) component. The MBE component will be considered, along with the SBE participation goal.
