4 Youngsters Facing Pornography Charge
Man Charged With Murder Of Victim Found In Motel Parking Lot
Four juveniles under the age of 15 were arrested on Fri- day and charged with pornog- raphy crimes. The incident took place in March.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, the mother of a girl under the age of 14 reported to police that her daughter had secretly been recorded during a sexual act. She also told police that the video of the act had been circulated around Burns Mid- dle School via cell phones and social media.
Detectives launched their investigation after receiving the report on March 27th. During the investigation, they learned that on March 18th, at approximately 5 p.m., the girl was at J. C. Penny’s 331 Bran- don Town Center.
The victim and Brennon R. Miller, 12, of Valrico,
were inside an enclosed dressing room, where the vic- tim allegedly performed a sex act on Miller. During the act, Miller allegedly recorded the incident without the victim’s knowledge or consent on his cell phone.
At some point between March 18th and March 26th, Brennon is said to have sent the video to Myshawn Crumpton, 14, of Brandon, via social media chat for it to be circulated through mass media. Crumpton is said to have created an account on Instagram and posted the video.
After it was posted, two 12-year-olds, Nia Melton, of Valrico, and Briza Ro- driguez, of Valrico, report- edly posted the video to their personnel Instagram ac- counts.
During the investigation, police also learned that Crumpton was still in pos- session of the video.
All four were arrested in connection with the crime. Crumpton was charged with promotion of child pornography of child less than 18 years of age, trans- mission of child pornography, and possession of child pornography.
Miller was charged with production of child pornogra- phy of a child less than 18 years of age and transmission of child pornography.
Melton and Rodriguez were both charged with trans- mission of child pornography. All four were transported to the Hillsborough County Ju- venile Assessment Center.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
ANGEL E. MARTINEZ ... Charged with second- degree felony murder
Police have arrested a 24- year-old man and charged him with felony murder in the sec- ond-degree. The crime took place early Friday.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the parking lot of the Andrea Cove Motel, 10464 106th Avenue, North, in reference to a shoot- ing. When deputies arrived shortly before 1 a.m., they dis- covered 47-year-old Ricky Lee Garland. He had been shot several times. Garland was transported to a local hos- pital, where he died of his in- juries.
Police learned during their investigation that Angel E. Martinez, 24, and 23-year-old Ms. Larrisha Williams are in a dating relationship. On the night of the murder, Mar- tinez, Ms. Williams, and her two children were observed in a vehicle next to the parking lot of the motel.
Martinez and Ms. Williams reportedly became engaged in an argument and Martinez was reportedly

armed with a handgun. During the course of the argument, Martinez is alleged to have shot Garland, who was in the parking lot and fled the scene. Police did not release informa- tion about how Garland be- came involved in the argument.
During the investigation, it was learned that Ms. Williams had left her two young children alone in an apartment the night of the murder. She was arrested and charged with two counts of felony child neglect.
Police located Martinez on Saturday and took him into custody. The investigation is continuing.
73-Year-Old Charged With Sexual Battery
Detectives arrested a 73- year-old man on Friday and charged him with sexual bat- tery and false imprisonment. Police said the suspect is the owner of an Assisted Living Facility in Pinellas County.
According to police, the victim is a 44-year-old woman who knows the sus- pect and works at the facility in St. Petersburg.
According to police, the victim told police that En- rique De La Piedra is the owner of the Osprey Assisted Living Facility, 6775 40th Av- enue, North.

edly asked her to come into his office and speak with him. The victim entered the office and he is alleged to
have suddenly locked the door. She told police that he hugged her and she at- tempted to get away from him.
However, he sexually bat- tered her, although she told him to stop several times. The victim told police she was able to escape from De La Piedra and left the of- fice.
Detectives said the victim reported the incident imme- diately to other employees and deputies were notified later. Following their investi- gation, De La Piedra was arrested on Friday after- noon.
