Prince Ashton J. Gooding, age 4, of Tampa, Florida, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 5th at 11 a. m. at 34th Street Church of God, 3000 North 34th Street, Tampa, Florida 33605. Inter- ment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Ashton is survived by: his parents who loved him dearly: his mother, Ashanti Taylor; and father, James Gooding; grandmothers, Jocelyn Lester, Cheryl Gooding and Ellen Morton; grandfathers, Charles Taylor, Eugene Gooding, and Michael Morton; his beloved sister, CeRhiya Raines; his brothers, Jaylen Gooding, Ty’Ayden Gooding, and Amir Gooding; his aunt, Aryuna Miller; with a host of other lov- ing relatives and friends.
At this time, please con- tinue to keep the family in your prayers and offer words of en- couragement.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, August 4th, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

MRS. LULA MAE WALTON BING
Homegoing Service for Mrs. Lula Mae Walton Bing, who passed away on July 23, 2017, will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 11 a. m. at New Progress Missionary Baptist Church, 3307 E. Shadowlawn Avenue, Tampa, Florida, Rev. E. J. Williams, Founder, with Dr. E. L. Wiseman, Jr. Pastor of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Plant City, Florida, offi- ciating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Bing leaves sweet, sweet legacies to be cherished by: 3 grandchildren, Charles L. (Patricia) Walton of Plant City, Curtis (Dolores) Peterson of Cincinnati, Ohio and Deborah Peterson of Cincinnati, Ohio; a host of great-grand and great- great-grandchildren; a sincere and devoted sister, Emma L. Rice of Tampa; a host of dedi- cated nephews and nieces (whom she loved dearly); spe- cial cousins, Clara Weston of Or- lando and Ruth Martin of Texas; the staff at Palm Garden of Tampa, friends, acquaintances and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Lula Mae Walton Bing was born in Taft, Florida on June 22, 1916 to the parentage of William and Rosa Rice. As a child, her family moved to Lithia, Florida in Hillsborough County. She later married the late J D Walton. Many years after J D’s demise she met and later married the late Samuel Bing.
Mrs. Bing joined First Bap- tist Church of College Hill, where Rev. J. C. Robinson was the Pastor. She later moved her membership to Peace Progres- sive Missionary Baptist Church, where Rev. J. C. Goins was the Pastor. She sang in the choirs and served on the Usher Boards. She was an active member of the Lily White Lodge #5.
In approximately 1967 she earned her GED and began a ca- reer as a Nurse’s Aide (CNA) at Centro Asturiano Hospital. She was also an excellent cook and retired from Sacred Heart Catholic Church as a Cook for the Priest. She was a grand- mother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and a devoted friend to many.
There will be a viewing on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 5-8 p. m. with the family present to receive friends from 5– 6 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home. Friends are asked to assemble at the church at approximately 10:45 a. m. Saturday for the service.

M/SGT (RET.) EARNEST POLITE
Retired Air Force Master Sergeant Earnest Polite, 80, passed away July 31, 2017. One of the original Tampa Bay Buc- caneer fans, Earnest was a longtime resident of Brandon, Florida, a devoted husband to the late Dorothy Jean Polite and dedicated United States Postal Service employee for over 20 years.
He was a loyal lottery player and could be spotted about Brandon at his favorite spots: the fitness center and 7/11. Earnest had a great sense of humor and loved to tease and joke. He read the paper every morning and stayed on top of politics, sports, and cur- rent events.
Earnest was born October 13, 1936 in Jacksonville, Florida to father, Carey Polite and mother, Mamie Lee White.
He is survived by his chil- dren: Deborah, Fritz (Becky), Yvette (Charles), Shawn (Paul), and Bruce (Debra); along with his beloved grand- children, Antoine (Laura), Amber, Chantae', Earnest Quinn, Shane, Raven, JaQuail, Donzell, Nick, and Damon; 6 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Service for Earnest Polite will be Saturday, August 5th at 6 p. m. at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida 33511.
MS.LINDA RENEE BLACK
Celebration of Life for Ms. Linda Renee Black, who tran- sitioned to be with the Lord on July 20, 2017 will be held Sat- urday, August 5, 2017, at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida 33610, at 1 pm. Rev. Evan Burrows, Pastor, Pastor Debra Brown, officiating.
Linda was born on May 21, 1965 to Audrey Linda Black and the late Andrew Lee Black in Tampa, FL. She was edu- cated in schools of Hillsbor- ough County. She graduated from Hillsborough High School as a star athlete, play- ing basketball, volleyball and softball. She loved shopping at the local flea markets, and car- ing for her elderly mom in the home where she resided. She remained active until her death on July 20th, 2017.
She is preceded in death by: Pernetta Tolbert, Windelon Seymore, Sharvette Black, Ed- ward Sims, Roy and Charlene Tolbert, Artis Black, Edis Black, Louise Daniels Willie Mae Wilson, May Ruth Black, and Rosetta Black.
She leaves: two loving chil- dren to cherish her memories, Ashley and Jamaal Black; 3 sisters, Nita Black James, Va- leria Ann Moultry and Lonnie and Lisa Black; 3 brothers, Robert Black, Norman Black and Erica and Perry Lee Black;

MS. CAROLYN AMAKER
Ms. Carolyn Amaker of Tampa passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017. A Celebration of Life service will be held Satur- day, August 5 at 11 a. m. at Word of Grace and Truth Min- istries, 3001 E. Hanna Avenue, Dr. Thomas L. Dozier, Pastor, Reverend Steve Griffin of Evening Star M. B. Church, of- ficiating with Pastor Allen Judge of Empowered by the Word Ministries, Eulogist. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Ms. Carolyn Amaker was born May 31, 1954 in By- romville, Georgia. She came to Tampa in 1971 and graduated from King High School. She was a faithful, dedicated em- ployee of St. Joseph’s Hospital for nearly 45 years. Carolyn was also a faithful member of Evening Star Tabernacle M. B. Church, where she enjoyed singing and leading songs in the No. 1 Choir, along with her sisters. Although the youngest of nine sisters and brothers, she enjoyed traveling with her sisters and “dictating” many family gatherings.
Before her departure are: mother, Emma Lester; sister, Beulah Felton; brothers, J. B. Felton and Eddie Felton; and special brother-in-law, Fred Short.
She leaves to mourn her passing: daughter, Yereda Etrenda Daniels and husband, Dughan; son, Richard Dukes and friend, Precious; brother, Henry Felton, Sr.; sisters, Mar- ilyn Short, Iradene Burch, Johnnie Mae Collins and hus- band, Tony, Nellie Sheppard, Willie Mae Jaudon, and Lillie Brown; grandchildren: Dean- dre Law, Mark Alers, Ima Alers, Alexis Cheatham, Brit- tany Williams, Destiny Williams, Rashard Dukes, Asia Dukes, and Rylan Dukes; great grandchildren, Omarion Cheatham and Sincere Alers; dedicated niece, Dr. Theresa Lewis; and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
The remains will repose from 5 to 8 p. m. Friday, Au- gust 4th, at Evening Star M. B. Church, 3716 E. Paris Street and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p. m.
