Arkansas Police Kills Teen At Youth Shelter
NAACP Issues Travel Advisory Warning For Missouri
The NAACP moved for- ward with a travel advisory warning people to be careful while in Missouri because of a danger that civil rights won't be respected.
Missouri NAACP President Rod Chapel said last Thurs- day that national delegates voted the day before to adopt the advisory, which was put in place at a statewide level in June. Chapel said it's up for ratification by the national board in October.

Aries Clark was shot last Tuesday [around 7 p.m.] and died a day later after the inci- dent outside East Arkansas Youth Services [a nonprofit that ‘provides positive alterna- tives to institutionalization’ for at-risk children according to its website] in Marion, the Daily Mail reports.
Officers opened fire shortly after arriving at the facility. No one has said why police were called or whether they felt en- dangered. Clark’s parents said that doctors told them that their son was shot in the back and the back of his head.
