Funerals
MRS. VYDAVIS ANTHONY
Mrs. Vydavis Anthony, daugh- ter of the late Mr. J. D. and Annie Pearl (Hall) Williams, was born September 21st, 1928 in Colquitt, Georgia. She was raised on a farm while attending public school.
On January 23rd, 1944, she joined in holy matrimony with Robert Anthony. She was mar- ried for 57 years until his death September 3, 2001.
In 1945, the couple moved to Macon, Georgia where they began to raise a family of their own. The family then moved to Florida in 1953. Together, the couple had four children. Vy- davis worked at the Historic Floridian Hotel downtown Tampa, Florida, and the County Hospital for many years before starting her own business.
In 1972, Vydavis and Robert Anthony began their own busi- ness known as E&B Market. She will always be remembered for her generosity and love for her children.
She passed away April 24, 2017.
Vydavis Anthony is survived by: her four children, Annie Lois (Paul) Creal, Bob (Janice) An- thony, James (Lillie) Anthony, and Sylvia Vickers; 16 grandchil- dren, Venus McIver, Victoria McMillian, Vincent Creal, Sharon, Steven, Sheldon, Shane, Charles and Brandy Anthony, John and Derick Dixon, Cory Williams, Amber, James, and Jason Anthony, Devin and Kadi- jah Vickers; six sisters, the late Ophelia Peterson of Colquitt, Georgia, Elaine McGhee of Cleveland, Ohio, Emma Wiley, Eloise Anthony and Wilhemenia Jackson (Charles) all of Albany, Georgia, the late Patricia Williams of West Palm Beach, Florida; nine brothers, the late J. D. (BOON) Williams, Jr. of Colquitt, Georgia, the late Troy Williams (Arlene) of Cleveland, Ohio, J. B. Williams (the late Dina) of Tampa, Florida, Ben Williams and the late Gerald Williams (Sally), all of Albany, Georgia, Harvest Williams (Jurya) of Donalsonville, Geor- gia, Horace Williams (Phyllis) of Dothan, Alabama, Hermon Williams (Crystal) of Haperville, Georgia; she also leaves a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p. m., Friday, May 5, 2017 at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N. 56th Street, Temple Ter- race, FL 33617.
The family is requesting everyone to meet for the funeral service at 2 p. m., Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Exalted Word Min-

MR. EDDIE WOODIE, JR.
Mr. Eddie Woodie, Jr., a na- tive of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, April, 26, 2017. He was the son of the late Eddie and Cara Woodie, Tampa, Florida.
Eddie attended the Hillsbor- ough County Public Schools and graduated from Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University. His professional ca- reer entailed employment with the City of Tampa and Supervi- sor with the United States Postal Services.
Eddie leaves a legacy of: three sons, Eddie Derrick Woodie (Ebony), Aaron Ronald Woodie (Jamel), and Reginald Dwight Woodie (Torina); four grandchildren, Janice Aryana Woodie, Janene Avani Woodie, Alana Taylor Woodie, and Edwin Elijah Woodie.
He also leaves to cherish fond memories: a loving and devoted girlfriend, Rosa Dorn; an unconditionally loving cousin, Leroy Twiggs (Brenda), Latham, New York; two impec- cable childhood friends, Henry Dupree, Sr. and Aaron Carl Bryant; former spouse, Mar- garet Guzman Woodie; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins locally and out of state. There are scores of other friends and relatives too nu- merous to mention.
Eddie was a former member of Saint Peter Claver Catholic Church and a faithful member of New Hope Missionary Bap- tist Church, where he served diligently and faithfully on the Usher Board. He loved his church and his church family.
There is a scheduled Memo- riam Service on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 5 p. m., New Hope Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 3005 E. Ellicott Tampa (33610). The in- terment will be private.

MR. EARL STANLEY OLIVER
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Earl Stanley Oliver of Tampa, FL who passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017, will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 2 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610, Pastor Frank R. Williams, Sr. offici- ating. Committal will be made at the chapel.
Earl was born in Tampa, on March 11, 1950 to the late Eddie and Lula Oliver, Sr. He enjoyed watching sports and movies. He was educated in Hillsborough County Schools.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Clara Oliver Goodwin; nephews, Eddie Oliver, III, Derrick F. Galloway, Sr.; six aunts and two uncles.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories with: brother, Eddie Oliver, Jr.; son, Donnie; one daughter; nephews, Eddie Z. Oliver, Nat Oliver, Reggie and Jessie Goodwin; three uncles, James Fisher, Ernest Kitchen, Rev. Benjamin Broadnax; cousins, Shirley Fisher Best, Ernest Fisher, Sr., Annie A. MR. CLIFTON BURNETT, SR.
Homegoing services for Mr. Clifton Burnett, Sr., who passed away April 25, 2017 will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11 a. m. at St. John Progressive MB Church, 2504 Chipco St., Tampa, FL 33605, Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Pastor, Pastor Otis Cooper, officiating. Interment will be placed in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Clifton was born July 30, 1944 in Indianola, MS and moved to Tampa, FL in 1964. He was born to the late Annie Bell Price and RT Burnett. He worked for Reed and Harsco Minerals for 30 years and Annette’s Burial for 24 years.
He is preceded in death by: his brothers, Dan Thomas, Virgil Habit, L. V. Ranson; sister Essiee Lean Burnett; his son, Charles Burnett; and grandson, Roberick Smith, Jr.

Wayne was born August 9, 1955 to the late Mrs. Christine Smalley and Mr. Aaron Richard- son. He was a native of Tampa, Florida where he attended pub- lic school in Hillsborough County. He was employed with WTMP and Vintech Audio.
Wayne is preceded in death by: his mother, Mrs. Christine Smalley; father, Aaron Richard- son; brothers, James H. Rollins and Dave R. Smalley, III.
