REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS RFQ NO. Q-002-21 DESIGN-BUILD TRANSLOAD WAREHOUSE PROJECT NO. 20-01021
Port Tampa Bay (PTB) is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified firms or individuals interested in providing Design-Build services to construct an approximately 77,000 square foot (SF) Transload Warehouse Facility with an Option No. 1 for a 19,000 (SF) Container Examination Station (CES) Facility at Port Tampa Bay. The project includes performing all design, permitting, threshold inspections, Construction Engineering Inspections (CEI) services and construction necessary to complete the project in accordance with Port Tampa Bay’s Design-Build Performance Specifications.
All interested firms will obtain a copy of the solicitation instructions and submittal documents and submit a completed response to Port Tampa Bay, 1101 Channelside Drive, 4th Floor, Tampa, FL 33602. Submittals are due by 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2021. There will be no formal opening for this procurement.
PTB will hold A MANDATORY PRE-QUALIFICATION TELECONFERENCE on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. PTB will only accept proposals submitted by firms participating in the teleconference. See Attachment 4 of the RFQ Document for teleconference details.
All responses to the RFQ shall include a letter indicating the Firm’s interest and completion of the RFQ Documents. Firms failing to submit the required RFQ Documents may be deemed non-responsive to the RFQ. The RFQ is available through the DemandStar System (www.demandstar.com) or through a link on PTB web site (www.porttb.com).
PTB encourages the use of registered Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms to the greatest extent possible on projects and has a goal of nine percent (9%) SBE participation. PTB will consider SBE participation when evaluating the responses.
