2018 DBE Federal Highway and Transit: Explanation of Goals & Methodology
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking comments/questions on its proposed three-year Dis- advantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Admin- istration (FTA). To ensure maximum participation and for pub- lic convenience, FDOT has a number of methods for reviewing and commenting on the documents:
- Visit www.fdot.gov/equalopportunityoffice and click on the link to one or both documents, then use the email link to provide comments.
- Visit the front desk of any FDOT District Office and ask to view either or both of the documents. Your comments may then be emailed to 2018DBE Goal@dot.state.fl.us
or mailed to FDOT, ATTN.: 2018 DBE Goal Setting, 605 Suwannee Street, MS 65, Tallahassee, FL 32399.
- Attend one of three public meetings on the goal setting methodology:
* July 19, 2017, 6:00 P.M., FDOT Orlando Urban Office, 133 South Semoran Blvd., Orlando, FL 32807
* July 20, 2017, 6:00 P.M. FDOT District Six Auditorium, 1000 N.W. 111th Ave., Miami, Florida 33172
* July 21, 2017, 6:00 P.M., FDOT Burns Building Auditorium, 605 Suwannee St., Tallahassee, FL 32399
- If needed, participate in the July 21st meeting via webinar at www.fdot.gov/equalopportunityoffice,
or simply listen to the recorded webinar after July 24th.

for updates and special information.
To ensure that FDOT has adequate time to respond to or make changes to the methodology, questions/comments on either or both of the DBE methodologies must be received before it is submitted for approval on August 1, 2017.
