  Man Jailed On Attempted Robbery Charge
 Man Accused Of Buying Car With Money From Robberies
 A 29-year-old St. Peters- burg man was arrested last week and charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. The charge is linked to an at- tempted robbery.
According to police, on July 30th, Terrian J. Knight is al- leged to have attempted to rob the assistant manager of a St. Petersburg Family Dollar as the manager was leaving the store. During the course of the at- tempted robbery, Knight pro- duced a firearm and shot the victim twice.
After hiding in a retention pond area for approximately seven hours, Knight was taken into custody, and law enforce-

ment recovered the firearm used in the shooting.
Knight is facing up to 10 years in federal prison.
  A Tampa man was taken into custody and charged with two armed robberies. He is al- leged to have purchased a car with the money obtained from the robberies.
According to the Tampa Po- lice Department, last Wednes- day, a Black male suspect entered the Citgo Station, 9931 N. Florida Avenue, shortly after 5 p.m. The suspect was armed with a black handgun and de- manded money from the em- ployee. He fled the scene on a black and white mountain bicy- cle after obtaining the money.
Around 2 a.m., on the same night, a Black man entered the Mobil Gas Station at 10002 N. Florida Avenue, removed a black handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The sus-

pect fled the scene in a 2003 Nissan, police said.
Detectives collected evi- dence, including fingerprints, from both robberies. The inves- tigation led police to 18-year-
old Joshua Joseph Seun Doxa of Tampa.
Investigators said at the time of his arrest, Doxa was at- tempting to drive away in a car he bought with the money from the armed robberies. The gun and other items from the rob- beries were located inside the vehicle, which was impounded by police.
Police obtained a search warrant and located the cloth- ing, glasses, and beanie Doxa had allegedly worn during the robberies.
Doxa lived within blocks of both robberies. Doxa was ar- rested last Thursday and charged with two counts of armed robbery with a firearm and two counts of carrying a concealed firearm.
    Convicted Bank Robbery Suspect Sentenced To Prison
 Last week, a U. S. District judge sentenced a Tampa man to more than 10 years in federal prison. He pleaded guilty on May 21, 2019.
Judge Charlene Honey- well sentenced 33-year-old Terrance Maurice Goss to 10 years and 10 months in fed- eral prison. The Court also or- dered him to forfeit $6,462 that had been taken from the banks.
According to court docu- ments, between January 11 and 25, 2019, Goss robbed four banks. On January 11, 2019, he robbed the Wells Fargo Bank located at 2699 Gulf to Bay Boulevard in Clearwater.

During each robbery, and
attempted robbery, Goss en- tered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. Following Goss’s robbery of the bank in Davenport, he led law enforcement officers on a high speed chase, ultimately crashing his car. The officers recovered a loaded pistol from the car after the crash.

     Couple Charged In Fatal Hit And Run Accident

Two people were taken into custody and charged in con- nection with a carjacking and fatal hit and run accident. It took place early Saturday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of a 2000 Dodge Dakota ran a traf- fic light in Wesley Chapel, around 7:30 a.m., Saturday. Police said the vehicle was driven by Cody Bearry, 31, and Ms. Breanna Wright, 23, was his passenger.
After running the traffic light, the Dodge Dakota struck a motorcycle driven by 26- year-old Angel Flallos. Flal- los was transported to a local hospital, where he died as a re- sult of his injuries.

After striking the motorcy- cle, the truck continued through the intersection, where it struck two other vehicles, po- lice said.
After the crash, the couple ran across the street to a Wawa, where they got into a fight with a man and then took in 2002 Saturn.
State Troopers and Pasco County deputies located the ve- hicle Saturday afternoon and chased the couple. Ms. Wright was located and taken into custody. Bearry escaped, but was taken into custody after deputies searched a wooded area and canal in Hills- borough County near Knights Griffin Road and Strauss Road, in Thonotosassa.
