Shaquille O'Neal Calls Out LaVar Ball In New Rap Song
Shaquille O'Neal at- tacked LaVar Ball in a new diss track released on Friday.
In the song, O'Neal chal- lenges Ball's basketball ca- reer, and the NBA and TNT commentator suggests he's the original Big Baller Brand, the company launched by the Ball family after Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball left UCLA.
"I've been doing this a long time, when you was av- eraging two points, riding the pine," O'Neal said of LaVar Ball, who averaged 2.2 points per game for Washing- ton State in 1987-88.

He also reminded Ball of his legacy with the Lakers, one Ball will witness every time his son plays at Staples Center.
"And when you're watchin' Zo play, look up in the rafters," he said.
O'Neal also adds: "Watch your mouth, don't ever step outta line ... Shaq O'Neal, bro, greatest of all time."
Toward the end of the track, rapped over a memo- rable Jay Z beat, O'Neal praised Ball for raising two standout players in Lonzo and LaMelo Ball.
LaVar Ball Says He Has No Regrets Over Female Referee
LAVAR BALL
LAS VEGAS -- One day after LaVar Ball said a fe- male referee was "not in shape" and "needs to stay in her lane," he said he had "no second thoughts" about his comments.
"You guys are trying to make it like a gender thing. It's not that," Ball told reporters after his Big Baller Brand's AAU team lost at the Adidas Summer Championships on Saturday evening. "All I'm say- ing was, what's her name? Ex- actly. The only reason you know her is she gave me and my son a tech. And that's what it is when you ref somebody who's got a high celebrity. Every coach acts like that be- cause the intensity of the game is so high. And I'm just saying, don't have no vendettas in here."
Ball received a technical foul during a game Friday morning from the same ref- eree who gave him a technical foul during Wednesday night's game. He threatened to pull his team off the court, but the game resumed after the fe- male referee was replaced midgame.
Afterward, Ball said the referee, who has yet to com- ment, wasn't qualified.
On Saturday, he insisted that it wasn't a gender issue.
Josh Huff's DUI Citation From November Dismissed, Pleads Guilty To Speeding
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Josh Huff had his DUI citation from a No- vember arrest dismissed.
However, Huff did plead guilty to speeding after he was pulled over for exceeding the speed limit on the Walt Whit- man Bridge in New Jersey.
The Philadelphia Eagles released the 25-year-old two days after the incident, when he was charged with posses- sion of marijuana and posses- sion of an unloaded gun that
was accompanied by a maga- zine filled with six hollow- point bullets.
On Wednesday, Auman reported Huff's gun charge will be dropped according to the terms of a pre-trial diver- sion program that stipulates he fulfills the terms of a six- month probation period. Huff's lawyer, Andrew Smith, said the gun was legally purchased in Texas and that Huff obtained a li- cense to carry.
Garcia Decisions Broner After Moving Up In Weight
NEW YORK -- Mikey Garcia, already a three-divi- sion world titleholder and one of the best fighters in the world pound-for-pound, added impressively to his ré- sumé Saturday night.
Garcia, a reigning light- weight titleholder, moved up to junior welterweight and put on a masterful perform- ance as he easily outboxed and outfought Adrien Broner to win a unanimous decision before a crowd of 12,084 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Broner, a former four-di- vision world titleholder, moved down in weight from welterweight for the fight but was a considerable underdog in a nontitle showdown be- tween two of the top names in boxing. The fight came to- gether when neither could find a top opponent in his own weight division to fight this summer.
In the end, it was all Gar-

cia, whose technical superi- ority was obvious. His punches were precise, crisp and accurate, with few that were wasted. Broner? He didn't throw much at all, rarely threw combinations and did not do much of any- thing, except shake his head after getting hit as if to say, "That didn't hurt."
The judges all had it for Garcia, 117-111, 116-112 and 116-112, which seemed gener- ous.
