   Representative Castor Presents Congressional Statements
  Congresswoman Kathy Castor (14th Congressional District) presented Congres- sional Record Statements last month during her annual Black History Month Pro- gram.
The 2020 program was held on February 24th in the Auditorium of Middleton Senior High School.
Chloe Coney served as the Mistress of Ceremonies. The program also consisted of the presentation of Colors and Pledge of Allegiance by Middleton High School; the singing of Lift Every Voice And Sing by Lauren
Matthew, Middleton High School Valedictorian; invoca- tion by Pastor Christo- pher J. Harris, Crossover Church; welcome, Middleton Principal Tiatasha Brown; opening by U. S. Represen- tative, Kathy Castor; and the presentation of the 2020 Congressional Record State- ments to: Ross Anderson, Judge Marva L. Cren- shaw and Judge Perry A. Little by Rep. Castor.
The program closed with a Drumline Performance by the Middleton Marching Tigers Band. (Photographs by Frederick Harris)
    Middleton High School Valedictorian Lauren Matthew sang the Negro National Anthem.
Chester White and George Greene joined Judge Little at the program.
Pastor Christopher J. Har- ris of the Crossover Church gave the invocation.

Among those who attended the program were former educa- tors: Evangeline (Van) Best, Henry “Shake” Washington, and Doretha Edgecomb.
