After concluding an exciting ski season on the mountains of Utah, Colorado, New Hampshire and Italy, the Onyx Ski and Sports Club of Tampa Bay ended its year with a splash. Club members and guests gathered at the St. Petersburg Beach on June 15th f0r a fun day in the sun, including yoga, aerobics, games and dancing.
Onyx is a member club of the National Brotherhood of Skiers (NBS) and the Florida Ski Council. The NBS is one of the largest snow ski councils in the country. Its mission is to identify, develop and support athletes of color who will win International and Winter Olympic sports competitions, representing the United States and to in- crease participation in winter sports.
Darele Brown Campbell is Onyx Club President, and Peggie Allen of Al- bany, NY is NBS President.

Onyx Ski And Sports Club Hosts End Of Year Beach Bash
Beach Bash: Isaih Johnson, Walter Lennox, Jr., Wendy Shelton, Yoga Instructor, Tyrone Hardy, and Ricky Kendall, Aerobics In- structor.
Joyce Thornton and Jeraldine Williams were also at the beach bash.
Enjoying the beach were: Liz Curtis, Delores Atkinson, and Elita McMillon.
At the NBS Black Ski Summit, Steamboat Springs, Colorado – Rod Sanford, Charles Kee, Darryl Adams, Eddie Echols, Phyllis Johnson, Darele Campbell, Suzanne Felton, Sonja Fel- ton, LaToya Carter, Sophia Stallworth, Sherry Suggs, Marva Jones, Cheryl Patterson, Al Atkins, Lucretia Falcon, Kim Sanford, Ike Johnson Linda Porter, Sean Carter, Wilbur Bate, Isaac McKinney, Willie Felton, Alfonso Barnes, Sharice Barnes and Dexter Stallworth.
