President Trump For Insensitive Tweets
Of Mass School Shooting
According to CNN, students who survived the Parkland, Florida, shooting were out- raged at President Donald Trump after he linked the FBI's failure to follow up on a report about the school shooter and the resources expended on the Russia investigation.
On Saturday, Trump tweeted, "Very sad that the FBI missed all of the many signals sent out by the Florida school shooter. This is not acceptable. They are spending too much time trying to prove Russian collusion with the Trump campaign - there is no collu- sion. Get back to the basics and make us all proud!”
The President's tweet caused considerable outrage and the students answered him. They wrote:
"17 of my classmates are gone. That's 17 futures, 17 chil- dren, and 17 friends stolen. But you're right, it always has to be about you. How silly of me to forget. #neveragain”

To show respect for the sur- vivors of the Florida school shooting which left 17 people dead, Donald Trump skipped going golfing. Accord- ing to reports, the decision not to golf at his Mar-a-Lago resort was to honor the affected fami- lies of the the Marjory Stone- man Douglas High School shooting.
The president traveled to Florida Friday (Feb. 16) and visited recovering victims, and also praised the medical staff for their life-saving efforts.
“It’s sad something like that could happen,” Trump said.
The president and first lady also visited the first responders and officers at the Broward County Sheriff’s office who responded to the chaotic scene at the school. According to The Hill, Trump joked with some members of law enforce- ment about capturing Nikolas Cruz, the 19-year-old respon- sible for the massacre.
President Trump gives thumbs up with hospital per- sonnel who cared for victims of school shooting before be- ginning his vacation at Mar-a- Lago.
“That was so modest, I would have told it much differently,” Trump said. “I would have said without me, they never would have found him.”
Cruz is said to be pleading guilty to 17 counts of premedi- tated murder.
Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort is just 40 miles away from the high school where Cruz in- jured 14 people during the shooting.

brutally murdered at my school, a place where they should have felt safe. Their lives were gone in an instant. You are the President of the United States and you have the audacity to put this on Russia as an excuse. I guess I should expect that from you.”
"Oh my god. 17 OF MY CLASSMATES AND FRIENDS ARE GONE AND YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO MAKE THIS ABOUT RUSSIA???!! HAVE A DAMN HEART. You can keep all of your fake and meaningless 'thoughts and prayers'."
