Pedestrian Crossing Crosswalk
Pedestrian Crossing Crosswalk and traffic control devices at 78th St. and Flower Ave. (by Emmanuel P. Johnson Rec Center) are now completed. The County is still working on fixing the drainage issues in the com- munity. Please help by clean- ing out litter and debris from drainage.

U. S. Citizenship Classes

U. S. Citizenship classes are designed to prepare participants for the U. S. Citizenship test and interview. The program con- sists of 40 hours of education on U. S. History and Government. Basic ESL will be incorporated into the curriculum. Classes will be conducted twice a week. Information is cumulative and par- ticipants should plan to attend all class sessions. Registration is required. Interested individuals should call the Hispanic Services Council at 813-936-7700 to get further information and register for the class.
This program is presented in partnership with the Hispanic Services Council and funded by the American Dream Literacy Initiative. The American Dream Literacy Initiative, a grant of- fering of the American Library Association, is made possible by the Dollar General Literacy Foundation.
