Because He Loves Me
Lord, it is amazing that You love me so, even though I have done noth- ing to deserve it. What is man, that You should exalt him, that You should set Your heart on him? (Job 7:17) Thank you that You see my ways and count all my steps (Job 31:4). Thank You that Your favor is for life (Psalm 30:5). O Lord, because Your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name (Psalm 63: 3-40. I love You with all my heart, mind, and
soul, and I worship You as my God of love.
Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands. ISAIAH 49:15-16
Lord, I worship You and thank You that You are the God of love. Thank You for loving me before I even knew You. I praise You especially for sacrificing Your only Son for me. There is no greater love than that. Your love brings healing to me for all the times and ways I have felt unloved in my life. I know that no matter what is happening in my life or what will happen in my life, Your love for me will never end. Because of Your love, I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High (Psalm 9:1-2)
In this love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 JOHN 4:10
