Tyrese Being Investigated By DCFS
Tyrese‘s ex-wife, Norma Mitchell-Gibson, has made sure his life is very uncomfort- able these days because he’s being investigated by the Los Angeles Department of Chil- dren and Family Services due to her claims and accusations of child abuse.
Mitchell-Gibson claims that Tyrese spanked their 10- year-old daughter so hard she couldn’t sit down.
In case you forgot, Tyrese and Norma Gibson are in a court battle.
Norma’s trying to get a per- manent restraining order pro- hibiting him from physically disciplining their daughter. She also wants full physical and legal custody. She’s wor- ried Tyrese will take their daughter to Dubai, where he has business ties, and not come back. She also wants Tyrese to

take domestic violence courses. She claims Tyrese “beat” the girl between 12 and 16 times. Tyrese says he only struck her once on her bottom. Tuesday in court, Norma’s at- torney said DCFS is now inves-
tigating Tyrese.
It’s not all that unusual for
DCFS to launch an investiga- tion as a precautionary meas- ure.
Meanwhile, Tyrese says Norma is bitter that he mar- ried someone else and is trumping up false allegations out of revenge.
Tyrese’s lawyer, Terry Levich Ross, went even fur- ther and was quite qraphic when he said,
“She’s a lying piece of s***. Tyrese is devastated. He’s a good guy and I will prove that.”

Gucci Mane Is Living A Good Life; He And Fiancee’s Wedding
Reality Show To Air Oct. 17 On BET
‘Girls Trip’ Writer Set To Reboot ‘First Wives Club’
Atlanta rapper, Gucci Mane is enjoying his best life ever, and it’s hard to argue with that. Ask anyone, the re- formed rapper continues to be a pillar of success and a posterboy for positive living.
In a recent interview with Vulture, the revered rapper expressed his love for books and how he attempts to read a new one each week.
Reading a book a week, filming his wedding reality show, making music and writing his autobiography is the name of Guwop’s game now.
Appropriately enough, Guwop just released a new video, ‘Met Gala’ featuring Offset, that symbolizes where he’s headed to next.
On October 17, BET will debut Gucci Mane and his fiancee, Keyshia’s wedding reality show, The Mane Event. The 10-part wedding special

follows the twists and turns of the celebrity hip-hop couple as they plan their wedding.
Back in 2014, Gucci was sentenced to three years in prison for assault and posses- sion of a firearm. Before he turned himself in, he gave Keyshia $2 million dollars to “flip” while he was behind bars.
Keyshia used that money to invest in her cosmetics line
which, in turn, grossed more than $6 million dollars.
According to Forbes mag- azine, once Gucci was re- leased — after serving 2 years and 4 months — he clocked in a million streams with his first post-prison release, "First Day Out Tha Feds."
Since then, he has re- leased a Billboard Hot 100 single with former label mate, Nicki Minaj called “Make Love.” After proposing to Keyshia at an Atlanta Hawks game back in November, Gucci officially announced the wedding date of 10/17/17 on social media.
For Gucci, the number 1017 holds a special place in his heart. Not only is his label named 1017 Brick Squad Records, his grandfather's old address in Bessemer, Ala- bama, included those same four digits.
Girls Trip writer Tracy Oliver has been tapped to write a reboot of First Wives Club' with what she calls a "diverse cast."
A TV series reboot of the 1996 movie, which starred Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn and Diane Keaton, is set for the Paramount Network (formerly Spike). The film itself is an adapta- tion of the 1992 novel of the same name.
Oliver co-wrote Girls Trip with Kenya Barris, (black-ish) becoming the first black woman to write a movie that $100 million- plus domestically-grossing movie.
She's also written on Sur- vivor's Remorse and is adapting the novel The Sun is Also a Star. Oliver wrote
